The Book Of Mischief pv Jay Divus

Being back in the classroom was extremely nightmarish. Why was he there? Why couldn't he just leave Hogwarts? No. Better to stay and annoy the hell out of the professors and prefects. He already earned his ttile of being the first person to get detention within a week of returning to Hogwarts. Ah, such an honor that was. But- it was only October 15th- a saturday. There was no classes- but he felt the compelling need to stay in the Classroom, but why? It wasn't like he knew any spells- nor did he pay attention. He had been very rebellious. Maybe he's meant to be a bully. Maybe that was his destiny.

But then again, he had to stay loyal to Keith. Keith- his possible future boyfriend. He began to mutter to himself. "What am I gonna do? Should I write an apology letter to everyone I was mean to? Or am I just going to do nothing to even try to remove a possible negative thought they had about me?" He looked around, looking for a quill and a piece of parchment. He opened up the drawer of the desk in the back of the room- when he discovered a book on mischief.

Well, it wasn’t entirely his fault. Jay had found a book in the library and decided to read it. But uh, lost it. Yeah, he knew the problem with that. He should bring the book back in spotless condition before the due date, but usually that’s not how it works. He loses anything, he’s not finding it until a month later. Maybe even a year. He was quite sure where he left it though. Since today there was no school, he was exploring the grounds. Even though he had been there since September, he hadn’t had the time. The classroom. He thought it to be a classroom or detention, but he didn’t know. The book, something about knights and princes, had to be in there. If not, it was lost forever.

As Jay stepped into the large classroom, he looked around. Nothing on the spotless desks, nothing on the floor, a person.. Wait, a person! According to their robes, they were a Hufflepuff kid, and pretty young too. “Ello there! Uh, whatcha doing?” The boy asked, hesitant at first. He hadn’t really talked to anyone outside his house, despite his friendly demeanor. The Gryffindors voice seemed a bit laid on thick, as he was covering his secondary accent. He talked quite fast, and his accent on top of that made it hard for someone to understand him.

Upon hearing another voice in the classroom, he jumped out of his seat. The so-called throne, that was never there. Why would he bother sitting in a chair that was much too high for him. It was almost as if it was a high chair.

“I’m actually looking, there’s some of the things that were taken away from us. But I did find a rather interesting book. It’s called the book of mischief. What do you think about that?”

The 3 foot goblin dude was a bit, sarcastic. Well, not sarcastic, but his tone of a sarcastic. All in all he was just telling the truth.

He could tell, the boy who came in with probably not someone who put the rat him out all the sudden. Unlike half the students at the school.

He felt something coming on, so he immediately just grabbed the book of mischief, and then ran towards the classroom door. He slammed the door and it slam so loud you could probably hear the door on the other side of the hall.

And then he frantically turn towards Jay, and try to turn this voice down a bit, so I didn’t sound sarcastic, didn’t sound like he was terrified. He tried to sound neutral. “Well hi! I am Clark! And you are?”

For context upon the height. Clark is a Part Goblin- but tatsu and I made a compromise to make him 3'6" instead of 3'3".

Jay seemed to jump out of his skin when the door was slammed in his face. But shaking off the initial panic of the loud noise, he looks down to the short Hufflepuff. He honestly didn't care about the height nor the tone of the Part-Goblin, being that he couldn't tell tone most of the time and height didn't matter to him.

"Book of mischief.. Well, it's certainly interesting. Not something I would take out of the library, though." He chuckled, thinking about the odd things that the book could have in it. "I'm Jay! It's nice to meet ya, Clark. What do you think about the book?

A warm smile was upon his face as he looks at Clark, a bit confused. Why was he in the classroom? Had he lost something, perhaps the very book he was holding? "Parece problemático... Esperemos que no sea lo que parece, Jay." He muttered under his breath in Spanish, just in case Clark had good hearing. Most people here didn't know a second language, and he was grateful for that. Though Spanish was almost as widespread as English, English speakers didn't seem to put the effort into learning a new way to communicate with others.
