Heya! My name is Lucy. My skin is tanned, I have green eyes and white, wavy hair because I always dye my hair white (it's one of my favourite colours!) I was born and raised in Edinburgh. My dad's a wizard and there are a lot of wizards and witches on his side of the family. My mum is a muggle, and there are no wizards or witches in her family, and I have one younger brother, his name is Freddie. He is still very young so we don't know yet if he can do any magic at all. We're a really close and loving family. I do have a few friends in my muggle school but at home I just prefer to spend time in my room and draw and write stories.
I don't think I've ever had friends before who were witches or wizards, and of course no one outside of my family knows about our magic. Not even my best friend, Alicia, knows about it and I tell her almost everything. I met her in school as well. We both love English classes and drawing, so we often write stories together and make drawings with them. My first time I did magic, as far as I remember, actually did happen in school. One of my classmates was being bullied and I got really scared and also really angry. Suddenly the lights started flashing, and even one of the windows in class broke. The next day no one seemed to remember what had happened, so my dad explained to me what had happened, and that I couldn't tell anyone, and that I had to be really careful from now on. The window was broken for several days and it was really hard not to talk to Alicia what had happened!
I have many dreams of what I'd want to do when I grow up, but I guess my greatest dream is to be a hero to someone, to do what is the wisest thing to do for everyone. When I was little, I thought that would mean I would wear a red cape like in the movies, but now I know that I just have to do what is the best thing to do for everyone, and then everything will be okay.
