No one could deny, not even the sourest of persons, the beautiful, if not magnificent, day bestowed on them. The cool breeze traveled across the courtyards, finding it's way to the amazing castle of Hogwarts and the amber leaves. Edward was particularly in a good mood, correction, he was ecstatic. All his work had gone with the wind, he hated being cooped up to long, he was more of an outdoors person. He liked what he brought it, or more like what it brought him. The grass was crisp and green underneath his combat boots, he wore a large red coat, a Burnt yellow scarf, aviator goggles, and combat boots that were too large for him. The fallen leaves underfoot made a satisfying crunch. Edward made his march forward using his umbrella like a cane. The cold wind made his face numb, which reminded him of home. Whenever he used to play outside in the cold with Ben and Ava, he would come home to mother to find a steaming hot chocolate with mini-marshmallows. He loved The Great Outdoors, as his mother called it. There was no better place for an adventure. Sadly, his mother, Ben, nor Ava were here. That's when he noticed the sweet flowers that were growing all around the large open space before him. And a there with long brown/blonde hair crouched a girl, obviously another student at Hogwarts. She was bent over picking the flowers, beautiful much like herself.
"Gorgeous aren't they? What species do you think they are?" He said crouching beside her. "Do you think they talk like Alice in Wonderland? Well... Whether or not they talk and sing they are magical none the less, whether or not we choose too see that...."
The was a momentary pause, before he stuck out his hand.
"My name is Edward Sam Edwards, lovely too meet you, Miss," he said smiling revealing the gap between his two large front teeth, strangely it was a rather charming smile, though very quirky. He looked back at the flowers,
"If they could talk what do you think they would say? Also, do you think it hurts when we pick them?... Nevermind that question, who are you picking the flowers for fellow outdoors lover, if I may assume that you love the outdoors.... Hmmm?"
He looked at the girl with his large, curious, dark eyes that sparkled like the stars in the night sky.
"Hi! I'm Edward Sam Edwards," He said accidentally repeating himself. "Oops! Sorry, I already said that already!"

It was a magnificent day. There was a light breeze blowing, and Bailey was happy.
Having finished her work the previous day, Bailey headed down to breakfast. Grabbing some toast, Bailey wrapped that and a chocolate croissant into the reusable napkin she kept in her bag for this reason.
Munching on some toast, Bailey walked outside. She wanted to pick some flowers, to press for her mums Christmas gift.
Bending over, she stuck the rest of her toast in her mouth, and started picking.
Startled to hear a voice, she stood up swallowing the rest of her toast.
“Oh! I think these are Orchids and Foxgloves- some of my mums favorites. Though her favorite is the Rose… I couldn’t find any. Anyways, my name is Bailey. Bailey Glade, third year Ravenclaw!”
Shaking Edwards hand, Bailey grinned, happy he had came up to her. She loved meeting new people.
“Well Edward- can I call you Ed? Anyways, what brings you out here? It is a bit chilly; I’m surprised anyone else besides me is crazy enough to come brave the cold. Though… the outdoors do make it worth it. It’s so … beautiful here!!!
Don’t you think so?”

Bailey asked the last part, raising an eyebrow and sticking her hands in her pockets.
boy am I happy I wore my scarf and coat and my thick boots bailey thought, daydreaming about hot chocolate and the smell of a fire in the common room.

She said sticking her hands in her pockets, he thought maybe she was trying to warm them.
"No one's ever called me Ed before, sure! I came in search of an adventure! The cold's never really bothered me, it gives me an excuse to drink a gallon of hot chococo. It's definitely a sight to behold! I do ever so much love outside! Does anyone ever call you Bai? You know that means pear in Korean? It's also slang for bye, and it's own language! Cool right? By the way what's your favorite movie... Or book?"
He reveled in the memories and thoughts of books and movies, he had learned the hard way that not everyone knew what a movie was in the "wizarding" world. He was honestly curious about every single question he had asked, he never really was given a nickname, everyone called him only Edward, Sweety, Dear, Sunshine, and Sunchild. He smiled at the nickname, Ed.

“They are gorgeous, sent they?” Bailey replied with a smile. It was nice to meet someone who loved nature as much as she and a very few others did.
After he introduced himself, Bailey asked if she could call him ‘Ed’. He said no one had called him that before, but that it would be ok.
He mentioned searching for adventure, and this made her she wonder if Ed and Colin had met.
I wonder … has Edward met @Colin McCoire? Colin would love to meet him and I feel like they would get along splendidly Bailey thought, and then smiled.
“I think a bit of an adventure would warm me up nicely!”
As she stood up, she smiled when he asked if anyone called her ‘Bai’
“A few people call me that- @Kim Sato, Colin McCoire, to name a few. Feel free to call me that!”
When Ed asked what her favorite book or movie was, Bailey smiled again despite the cold that was chilling her face.
“I’m not sure I can pick just one book… but there is a muggle series called the Keepers of the Lost Cities, which I love. As for movies- muggle movies are the best. Do wizards even have movies? Anyways, I love watching the Marvel Movies- they’re about superheroes, and I just loved watching them with my parents! What about you?”

Out of nowhere Bailey made a sweet smile that plastered her doll-like face,
“I think a bit of an adventure would warm me up nicely!" She stood up adjusting her large baby-blue coat, with a small bouquet of flowers in her hand for her mum. “A few people call me that- Kim Sato, Colin McCoire, to name a few. He thought for a while, who was Kim Sato and Colin McCoire? Were they nice? Were they like Bailey? Did they like movies? Were they at Hogwarts? Were they their age? He knew age didn't matter in friendship just like himself and Mrs. Seuss and lovely, sweet, old woman that Edward had grown quite fond of, but sadly she is no longer here. He couldn't help but feel sad when thinking of being so far away from his sweet mother, they were always there for each other, how was she doing without him? Everyone said he got his compassionate heart from his mother, and many of his looks from his father. He didn't despise the father, but how can you feel towards someone you've never met? That was a question for another day, he had realized he had stood in silence for a while.
"Cool! I haven't heard that before, my favorite book is Language of spells and I have too many movies I adore to name just one," he smiled. "What adventure would you like to partake on?"
He smiled revealing his charming, odd smile. There started the beginning of their friendship...
