Personality: Luma is very outspoken and confident, she likes to lead and is very determined when striving for her goals. However, she prefers spending most of her time alone and needs to recharge after long days with lots of social interaction. She has a passion for potions and beasts and is excited to attend classes related to those subjects. Luma is fiercely loyal and protective when it comes to her family and when a person gains her trust she considers them part of her family.
Appearance: Luma is relatively tall for her age at 59 inches (150cm) and overall has an average build. She has ark red-brown hair that she usually wears loose except for one long braid which is traditional for young girls in the Silvana family. She has bright amber eyes and was born with freckles but they've faded over time.
History/Background Story: Luma was born February 28th, 2011 in Pembroke, Wales. Luma was the second child of Rayna and Caleb Silvana. The Silvana family is from a very old Pure-blood line but, while they are proud of their heritage, they are much more layed back than most pureblooded families. The Silvanas do not see lineage as a thing to define someone or something to brag about. Luma's parents are very loving and always encouraged her and her siblings to strive towards their goals. She was homeschooled for most of her life up till Hogwarts but did take a few classes at a local Muggle school. Her family dynamic is interesting since her mother is Slytherin, and her father is Gryffindor. They're very similar people but like doing things their own way. Luma has an older brother who she adores, and two younger siblings, a sister and brother who are twins. Her older brother is also a Gryffindor like their father. Luma is the first Silvana to be a Hufflepuff in a long time. Her family moved to Bristol when Luma was 9, just after her older brother finished his third year at Hogwarts. The Silvana family is very close and extremely loyal to each other. Aside from the typical sibling bickering and rivalry, Luma gets along very well with her siblings.
Luma's first instance of accidental magic was 2 years before they moved to Bristol, Luma was 7. When her younger brother fell while climbing a tree, Luma panicked and, attempting to save him, tried to use magic to catch him but instead turned him into a bird. Thankfully her father was able to change him back before he was caught by the family's cat. Since then Luma has had a few other magic incidents but she gained control as time passed.
