The wrong Scottish Friend
Pulling on her boots, Bailey fixed her collar of her turtle neck and put her wand and notebook into her bag.
It was the weekend and she was heading to Dinner. Happy she was able to wear some fall attire, she had worn her favorite turtle neck, black jeans and black blazer. She kinda felt like an English muggle college professor, but she was comfortable and loved the outfit.
Walking out the door of her dorm Bailey whistled a merry time as she headed down to dinner.
Almost to dinner, she heard a familiar sounding Scottish accent.
Oh that must be @Colin McCoire! she thought, and headed towards the voice.
It was coming from an almost empty classroom, with the door only open a crack.
Tiptoeing towards the door, Bailey realized that no one was around and she could walk normally.
Opening the door a smidge, she walked in and was about to say Hey Colin How are you? Did you get my owl the other day?
When she saw that it was NOT her friendly Scottish friend whom she loved dearly, she started to back out, when the unthinkable happened.
She tripped over her own boots, and cursing “Darn it! Merlin’s beard why am I so clumsy!” she fell to the ground with a thud.
Her bag clanked on the ground and Bailey sat there shocked for a few seconds.
Gathering her wits, she stood, and smiled at the boy who was sitting there and definitely was not Colin.
“Hey….” she said, blushing.
“Sorry I didn’t mean to intrude- I heard your Scottish accent and thought it was my friend, Colin McCoire, so I came to say hello; I saw that you went him and was trying to leave when I tripped…” Bailey rambled on, inwardly cursing again.
“Anyways my name is Bailey… Bailey Glade. I’m a third year, Ravenclaw. I think I saw you at the ball..?”
Bailey tried to salvage the situation, but wasn’t sure her attempts were working.

The wrong Scottish Friend
The tall slender figure walked the classroom, his once long dark hair hung closer to his pale face. His hair was swept back revealing his small black hoop earrings. The classroom were a ghost town, only a few students here and there getting their books and notes together, soon enough he was alone. He decided he would stay and study, he pulled out his notebook and began writing.
"Mah grandpa fought in world war ii
he wis sic a noble dude
i cannae even finish school
missed mah maw, 'n' left tae soon
his da wis a fireman
who fought fires sae violent
i think ah stoogied mah therapist
while playing him mah violin..."
He sung, his scottish voice echoing through the room ever so gently.
THUD! CLANK!
Suddenly a girl enters, or it would be more accurate to say she fell through the classroom doors. She hit the ground hard her bag following her, Thymus directed his attention to light hair girl in a turtle neck and boots. She looked older than him, she sat on the floor in shock for a mere moment as Thymus observed her.
“Hey….” she said her cheeks turning a shade of pinkish red. He waved awkwardly back.

"Na need tae apologize, as ye see Miss Glade ah dae nae ain th' room sae intrusion haes taken steid, aye?" He flashed a friendly smile revealing the gap between his two large front teeth. "Aye, ah did gang tae th' baw... Ah think a clocked ye thare as weel. They ca' me thymus genus syringa quercus timerey, bit ye kin ca' me quercy."
He faced her with his dark eyes underlined with a deep darkness only caused by his neverending insomnia.

The wrong Scottish Friend
Blushing, Bailey smiled as the boy began to talk. He seemed quite friendly, and Bailey was glad. She would have hated to come across someone who was really rude and mean. Her happiness and general all around sunshiny-ness could only go so far.
only @Colin McCoire calls it my sunshiny-ness Bailey thought, and smiled. Her other Scottish friend was a true blessing, and she was glad to have found someone who was like it, at least in some ways.
“True- we don’t own the rooms. Though… do the teachers own them? Or are they just using them..? Sorry that was REALLY random.” Bailey blushed again, wondering why she was acting like this. She was tired, but not THAT tired.
“Sorry that was really random.” she said, apologizing for something she really did not need to.
He mentioned seeing her at the ball, and as he faced her fully he introduced himself, and said she could call him “ Quercy”
Smiling at her new friend, Bailey stuck out her hand for him to shake if he chose.
“Well Quercy“ she said, her smile widening. “I am very glad I stumbled into here. Maybe my clumsiness has some perks- though my body and it’s random bruises will protest!” Bailey laughed, stepping back.
“Well.. I should be headed to dinner probably. Sorry to cut this short- you can walk with me if you want, I don’t mind. I’m just quite hungry, and ready to eat!”
Bailey turned and walked out of the door, heading to dinner, smiling wide from having made a new friend.

Sorry to cut this short, but since you are changing characters I figured we’d need to wrap this up quickly.
