Making new Memories  Finished
It had been many years since Lloyd and Mable stood on platform 9 3/4 waiting to board the Hogwarts express for the first time. The memories came flooding back like it had only been yesterday. They had met briefly that day but neither of them had any idea how important they would eventually become to one another. Mable had made friends quickly and was sitting with two other girls. Lloyd had briefly popped his head into their car to look for a spot to sit. "Girls only!" Shouted a particularly haughty red head. Mable remembered thinking that wasn't very nice of her. She reached out to grab her husband's hand. He looked at his wife with a smile. She suspected he was having similar memories as they walked their son, Jonathan through the wall onto the platform. There it was, just as magnificent as the day they first saw it. Little Barbara tagged along holding her mother's other hand while Jonathan pushed his cart of luggage. He didn't really have very much so it wasn't difficult. "Mum, dad, I can't believe I've never thought to ask. What houses were you in when you attended Hogwarts?" Inquired Jonathan. Lloyd answered while Mable was busy with wee little Barbara. "Well son, your mother was in Griffindor while I was in Hufflepuff. " Jonathan smiled and said. "I wouldn't mind being sorted into either one of those houses." Lloyd nodded and patted his boy on the head. "Last call! All aboard!" Shouted the conductor. Jonathan gave each of his parents a big hug and kissed his baby sisters cheek before hopping onto the train. He was only a little sad to be leaving them but he was much more excited about this new chapter in his life. He couldn't wait to get to Hogwarts.
