the sky is beautiful tonight Closed

Ava walked out of the castle, looking around the grounds. It was already night time, and if the groundkeeper was up for some reason she would probably get detention. She actually never had detention - in any of the two schools she went to, even in the muggle one, there was no detention for some reason. Most of the student feared it, so Ava did too, but only a bit. Another experience, right?

She walked out, taking a deep breath and looking up at the sky. The grounds were so peaceful without all of the students running around. The sky was beautiful, the grounds were quiet, the lake looked beautiful... Ava took another deep breath and started happily walking over to the lake. The girl sat down by it, regretting that she didn't manage to bring her cat here. He would probably get her in more trouble. If someone woke him up, he wasn't happy. Like most people and most cats.

The girl smiled, looking up at the sky again. Being outside usually made her happy. Usually, it was also better with someone, but this time she didn't mind being alone. She laid down on the grass, looking at the sky, trying to remember everything she learned in Astrology. She tilted her head a couple times, before recognizing Aries. She smiled to herself again.

Cameron left the castle after dinner not wanting to go to the dormitory. He finished all of his homework and was anxious for the weekend. The night was slightly chilly and with a light breeze he felt goosebumps on his skin. Cameron followed the path toward where Ava was walking. He caught up with her and smiled at the night sky recognizing Aries too.

"Beautiful isn't it? The sky. I always searched for the big dipper it seems here in Scotland it is something that is hard to come by." He sat down beside her and continued to gaze at the stars. Remembering his Astronomy class Cameron pointed up in the air towards the left of Aries.

"See that tiny star to the far left. That's one of the moons, each constellation has moons that are either within our galaxy or far. There are so many that I haven't remembered them all but I do like watching the night sky. S'pose I forgot my telescope." He shrugged and offered his hand to her smiling, "I'm Cameron. I'm sure I've passed you in the halls at school." He wondered if he would ever have the guts to say hi once in a while when students passed.
