Wandering Off
"Dang it!"Feeling rather bored, Augustus decided to wander the beautiful castle, in search of something to keep his mind off of things. To his shock, he had not found anything. He was so lost. he wouldn't be surprised had he been caught up in another dimension. He had no map or anything yet, but only a Muggle kaleidoscope in his robe pocket he had kept as memory of his parents, a present for his 6th birthday. He felt heartsick. He loved his grandmother, and his sister, but he couldn't help missing his parents. They'd only put so much pressure on his shoulders for the best. He felt guilty of all the yelling and screaming he'd make them endure as a little kid, and took the kaleidoscope out, and looked inside, spinning the handle. The inside was a blue pattern of diamond and stars, and he smiled. Or at least, long enough to forget where he was walking. He crashed into the door of the abandoned bathroom door, and almost broke his nose.
Augustus screamed, and shook his head, and he raised a eyebrow. He was standing in front of a shabby, muddy looking door, and on it, was a silver plaque which was covered in so much muck that Augustus couldn't read it. It didn't matter though, and he didn't exactly stop to consider what was inside. He opened the gold handle, and was amazed to see what was inside.

Wandering Off
Thymus had just finally just finished his dark arts homework, he was determined to graduate with flying colors. He put the paper away along with the piles of work and closed the stacks in a suitcase. He sat there in silence, looking about the stall within the abandoned bathrooms, no one really liked it here. Thymus enjoyed the quiet and peace even if it was a bathroom, it was safe. He reached into his shirt and pulled out a long silver and black locket, he moved his fingrrs along the curves and sharp edges of the lockets intricate design, he sighed. BANG! Thymus sat upright at the sudden load noise followed with a, "DANG IT!"
Thymus concealed the locket back into his shirt as he heard the door knob turn and the door creaked open. He could shoes as he could only see a sliver from underneath the stall, he sat in silence on the stall's unkept floors. His stall door hung open, he hoped it wasn't a teacher, he wasn't in the mood for a lecture. Thymus knew there was no getting out of it anyway so why try, he contiued to set thete in silence his long black hair covering his pale sunken face as he became one with the shadows that barely revealed him. He took out his book to start his read on Edgar Allen Poe's most acclaimed poems and his lesser known as well. All he had to do was wait.

Wandering Off
"Ow!"Augustus looked around, and he saw how broken the place looked. The bathroom was covered in muck, with the stalls on one side, and a circle of sinks on the other. He clutched his kaleidoscope a bit tightly, and he took a deep sigh. He looked at the sinks, and noticed that there was one overflowing, with dirty murky water. Disgusted, he sighed and noticed that one of the stalls were open. He wondered if anyone was inside, but it must be unlikely based on how murky the place was. He stumbled a few times, as his shoes squeaked from the slippery dirty floor. He decided to wash his kaleidoscope, since the bathroom made him feel..odd. He began turning on all the sinks, to find even the hint of clean water. He finally went to the last one, and to his surprise, it was a lot cleaner. He washed it and scrubbed it, because of the nervousness racking him and the fact that his room in the Muggle world was considerably clean compared to this muck. He slowly began jabbing into the inside of the kaleidoscope, and bruised his index finger.
@Thymus Quercus TimereyHe took a deep breath, and stopped jabbing the inside. The shock should have worn off, right? All he wanted to do then was go back to his common room and nourish his finger. Obviously, he'd look like a idiot to whoever was staring, caring for a finger. He put the kaleidoscope back and began to ponder. That is, until he saw something odd outside the window.

Thymus watched as he awaited his fate but to much of his surprise it was another student. He held something in his hand, Thymus couldn't make out what it was he had in his possession and found no use further trying to rack his brain to figure it out. The boy's sneakers squeaked on the slippery floors tripping here and there, the boy looked directly at Thymus, Thymus stood still as a statue, the boy turned away. The Invisible man strikes again, he thought to himself. The boy sighed as he looked at one of the sink overflowing with sludgy water. The boy tried every sink obviously looking for the best bachelorette, he got to the very end and started to wash the strange object he was clutching in his hands. Thymus couldn't see very well as the stall and the back of the boy blocked his view.
"OW!" excalimed the boy before taking a deep breath. He stood caring for his finger, well alright then... Thymus thought to himself. The boy froze as he looked torwards the window. Thymus stood up and walked out of the shadows, out the stall to see what he was looking at, every move he made was quiet as if he had been muted. He stood looking towards the window.

Only then had he realized that someone else was here. He leapt to his feet at the stranger. He noticed that this boy was also looking at the window. Feeling better, he also looked back at the window. Then, he noticed the weather. It was gray stormy, and thunder boomed. The same weather on the day his parents tragically died in the car crash.
Tears filled his eyes. He could remember everything. The truth was, it was actually partially his fault they'd died. He remembered it like it was yesterday. He heard his mothers faint soft voice yelling, ALASTOR! GET THE CHILDREN OUT! GET THE- when the car was swerving on London bridge. Then, it crashed onto another one, and all he remembered was the blood gushing over his forehead, and the screaming of his little sister.
"Take it. I don't feel so good."His memories flushed back looking at it. He was only returned to his original state when he blinked. The rain was pouring hard. He didn't notice that quiet tears were streaming down his face, And slowly begin to pull out his kaleidoscope. He looked at the stranger for a bit, before looking back at the kaleidoscope. He handed him it and said,

Wandering Off
Labi was running around in full frantic mode. She had received word that her fox, whom she had cared for as a baby, had passed away. Her eyes were filled with tears and she felt enraged, sick, and somehow terrified of what was yet to come. She cried so hysterically and frighteningly that a few students passing by stared at her. She was running, and then finally stopped in front of the abandoned bathroom. She heard something, a squeaky voice saying something she couldn't make out. She opened the door, but as quietly as she could. She noticed the muck, and made a disgusted face at it. She stretched her hands and cracked her knuckles, wanted to see more. She sneaked behind the sinks, and not noticing that the one she was in the back of had sludgy water, soon, she was drenched! She was covered in the filth, and begin brushing it off and cursing. The thunder boomed and crackled, but Labi was not scared of these things. She didn't care. She didn't even care about her fox anymore, and simply stared at the two boys. One was extremely attractive and tall, and the other was average and cute. She remembered seeing the smaller boy before, but she had forgotten his name. Was it..Agnist? No, its Augustus. She sighed, and simply began shuffling behind the sinks and noticing that all of them were overflowing. She finally got up, and went to the two boys by the window, and extended her hand out to say,
"What are you two doing here?"

The boy froze as he looked torwards the window. Thymus stood up and walked out of the shadows, out the stall to see what he was looking at, every move he made was quiet as if he had been muted. He stood looking towards the window.
The boy lept as he noticed Thymus, but quickly calmed down as he looked back toward the window. They both stood at the window in silence, the rain... A gray stormy day of thunder, to Thymus it was a lullaby of his past. Thymus quietly watched as the rain created quiet tears across the windows, he knew how the rain felt. He heard a quiet drop beside him, the boy stood with messy black hair and silent tears streaming down his face in a tragic manner... The drop was his tears... The boy's mind was somewhere else. Thymus knew the feeling all too well, before Thymus could say anything the boy pulled out his object slowly before stopping to turn to Thymus, they looked at each other for a bit before the boy handed the object to Thymus,
"Take it. I don't feel so good," the boy uttered his face stained with tears.
Thymus politely took the object, discovering it was a kaleidoscope. Why did he have a kaleidoscope? Thymus pondered, he looked back up at the boy.
"What's wrong?... If you don't mind my asking," Thymus spoke calmly to the boy. "If you would like not to tell that is fine. But remember it is always better to talk to someone, even if that someone is not me. I could escort you to the nurse wing if you need so..."
He waited for a bit before he reached in his pocket and pulled out a tissue box.
"Here," he stated handing it to the boy giving a slight smile. "Take as many as you need."
But before the boy could say anything a girl with long, flaming, curly, red hair and fair skin stepped out of the shadows extending her hand.
"What are you two doing here?" She asked.
He turned to face the girl standing next to them,
"If I may be so bold to ask, what are you doing here? As we are here for the being of being here so that our being can be there in the being of being a being." He stated to the girl, when he noticed that tears also stained her faced.
"Take as many as you need," he stated holding the tissue box to the girl smiling with only the corner of his mouth further revealing his sharp cheekbones, his black eyes barely visible behind his curtain of long black hair.

She took the tissues gratefully and didn't smile or anything. She simply nodded her head. She was staring at the younger boy, whose gray eyes captivated her. She finally took a small deep breath and noticed that the taller boy had a kaleidoscope in his hands. Because she was curious about muggle items, she looked at them. She wanted to look at the kaleidoscope and wanted to snatch it. But she resisted.
Feeling rather feverish, she straightened herself, and sniffed the younger boy, as if he was perfume. She knew immediately that it was a muggle-born. She gave the boy a strange look, being taught all her life to despise muggle-borns and half-bloods. It didn't matter though, he looked so innocent, much better than any mudblood...
She shook herself back to reality. The rain poured harder, and finally, she had the bravery to talk to them.
"Uh...my name is Labi. And um...I recently got word that well- my uh..." She stopped to think. Her mind was flurried with emotion. But she kept her stoic manner. "Nevermind. The point is,why are you guys here?" She finally said. Her beautiful face was kept quiet, but she had gratitude and the fear in her eyes dwindled.

The girl took the tissues she didn't smile just a simple nod of her head. She stared at the boy and then at the kaleidoscope that Thymus held in his hands, he tightened his grip on it as she seemed herself too curious. Strangely she smelled the boy, a strange look taking over her pale face. She looked lost in thought much like the boy had, buy she snapped out of it bringing her lips to move,

Her face lay expressionless much like Thymus, but her eyes screamed fear and a hint of thankfulness.
"Nice to meet you Miss Labi, my name is Thymus Genius Syringia Quercus Timerey," Thymus continued, "Why should I tell you why I'm here if you won't tell me yourself? But again you must feel that 'why should I tell him if he won't tell me?'... Yes?... I only came here for the likeliness of reading. As for you I see you have lost someone or something important too you, as you have the same look I had many years ago. You got word recently of the passing... Yes?"
He awaited her answer expressionless.

"My parents gave that to me. Before well-"Augustus couldn't stop staring at the girl. Finally, he noticed her looking at his kaleidoscope. He finally sighed and brushed his black hair away from his face. He finally said to Thermus-
"Why are you here?-"His throat hurt too much to speak. He sighed and began looking at the window again. His motionless memories began to crumble on him, like rocks on a heavy truck being thrown on him, at a very, very heavy pace. He stopped to think again, before finally asking the girl something-
He stopped himself. He had seen 2 complete strangers, and hadn't even told them his name yet! Did he decide to maybe try? It'd be nice to have some friends, right? He tried to think.
The truth was, he had many Muggle friends before Hogwarts. He always hung out with them, and did so much fun things together. But now, he could only really owl-mail them, which would be a fright to their parents. He could still vividly remember that a few of his friends were jealous of him, while some also supported him. He took a deep breath, and took a crack. /quote]
