Mikhail Vasilyevich Durmstrang

Mikhail Feodorovich Vasilyevich was born to Feodor Gregorovich Vasilyevich and Svetlana Timofeyovna Vasilyevicha on November the 18th, 2009. He was their first and only child and from a young age, Mikhail learned to obey his parents without being told twice because if he didn’t, he’d have to suffer the consequences which he didn’t like one bit. Both of Mikhail’s parents had graduated from Durmstang and his father Feodor went on to become an auror whilst Mikhail’s mother became an obliviator so on some days they could spend a lot of time at home but on other days they couldn’t.

When Mikhail turned four, his father had begun to teach him a few martial arts including Judo and Krav Maga. Mikhail also had to start to wake up early in the morning to participate in a mandatory exercise which his parents told him was supposed to prepare him for the mandatory early-morning exercise he’d have to do at the Durmstrang Institute and if he developed a habit of doing it now, it’d be easier to do later. The exercises included push ups, sit-ups, pull-ups, squats, and so on, and they soon became a habit for Mikhail which was exactly what his parents intended. As Mikhail grew older, he would begin to engage in more advanced forms of these exercises so that by the time he had gotten accepted into the Durmstang, his morning workout included sets of clapping push ups, one armed pull-ups, raised leg crunches, and so on.

Of course, training his body wasn’t the only thing Mikahil did growing up. You see, every year, he and his parents would go on a two week vacation during the summer and each time, the location was different. For example, when Mikhail was seven years old, the family went to Italy on vacation where they saw the Coliseum and visited Pompeii, and when he was nine years old, the family went to France where they watched the sunset from the Eiffel Tower and visited the French Alps.

Mikhail first instance of magic happened when he was about five years old. He and his parents had gone to visit some (wizard) friends and while playing with their children, a girl of about his age and a boy that was one year younger then him, Mikhail accidentally made a dent in their wall. This happened when they were racing with some toy cars on the ground and to make his win, Mikhail pushed it as hard as he could before letting go. In the aftermath, he didn’t win because he apparently cheated, but he did make a dent in the kid’s wall because when he let go of the car, it flew straight into the wall. Seeing the dent that he had done, Mikhail started to panic before starting to cry, but the two kids soon noticed that the wall had repaired itself. Mikhail’s mom came in a few seconds later as she heard Mikhail crying but when asked why he was crying, Mikhail told her that he had accidentally tripped and fell.
