Closed Feeling Homesick

Labi was not feeling well. In fact, she felt alone, scared, and somehow sick. So she went to the lake to calm down. And because it reminded her of the one thing she loved best; nature.
Yes, nature. The beautiful trees, the beautiful water, and more importantly, the animals.
Her parents never took her anywhere, but when they did, they went camping, right in the forest.
Her parents did not understand her bond with animals. She didn't speak to them, they didn't speak to her. But she always knew what they were saying, like a best friend.
She didn't talk to animals though, she only listened to their beautiful sounds, like they were calling to her.
Now, she was in Hogwarts. A huge, drafty castle, with so many hallways she could get lost. The walls closed off the wild, but it didn't matter anyway. She could simply walk around the grounds whenever she had time, and find some birds to listen to, or maybe some ferrets or squirrels scurrying around the place.
Today, she needed time to calm down. She felt homesick. She had received word from her family that her oldest sister, Krutika, had fallen deadly sick. They both were very close, so of course, Labi felt this way.
She sighed and sat down by the lake. She began to cry and buried her face in her knees, and her face was red from the anger of the news, yet the sadness of her sister's illness, weighed down on her small head.
She sniffed and looked up at the lake. It was pretty, crystal water. The gorgeous blue of the sky and the white fluffy clouds made her feel a bit better.
She took a picture out of her green dress pocket, and it was a fox that she took care of when she was at home. This fox was now 5 years old, and it had grown bigger. This picture she held, was the last she ever took with the fur frenzy before attending Hogwarts.
She looked at it and tried to think about her happiest memories.
She was in the middle of searching for one in her orange head when someone tapped her shoulder.
