History/Background Story:
Prior to his letter of admission to Hogwarts, Aspen was a simple farm boy who lived in Essex, England.
He didn't know much about his biological parents; he had been put up for adoption almost immediately after his birth which was July 21st, 2011. He doesn't remember much of his earlier years, but he was in and out of foster care until he was adopted by his current dads, Sage Chestnut and Theodore Chestnut at the age of seven years. Since then, he was taught the ways of his parents' farm and helped to raise the animals there. He mostly worked with cows, chicken, and sheep. His main duties lie with milking the cows, collecting the eggs from the chickens (while avoiding their terrifying rooster named Shepeard). He did attend a local elementary school up until his acceptance to Hogwarts. He had a few friends previous to Hogwarts, though they had been told he was in boarding school, as to help conceal their sons' magical abilities.
The first time he discovered that he was a wizard of sorts, was when one night, he had a dream. It had been a wonderful dream where he was flying high above the clouds but had awoken when he'd hit a "plane". In reality, however, he had hit the ceiling of his room. He'd been floating above his bed for over ten minutes. The initial shock had made him cry out, crashing back down to his bed, and alerting his parents who slept next door.
Their initial thought was that an intruder had broken in, but when Aspen tried to explain what really happened, they didn't believe him. Not until the next day, when a strange man, with a long and too hard to pronounce name, showed up and explained to Aspen and his family that he was, in fact, a wizard. As such, he was surprised when he was handed the acceptance letter. There was a school for people like him...? It would be the start of a new life for him, and he was willing to take the chance to learn magic, even if it was a little nerve wracking to be so far from home.
Aspen is a kind, loyal, and calming young man who enjoys taking care of animals. He is known to be rather talkative at times, as well, but more so in a way that helps others feel eased around him.
