Sorry. Solo Locked

There were times Clair was glad she had Kiwi, the cat was really cute and she had wanted a cat for her whole life. But Clair had loved Comet, and she had put lots of time into training Comet, the rabbit was better then any owl if you asked Clair, Comet could deliver messages around the Castle, she could cuddle and she was happy to stay in her cage for however long she was in there. Kiwi was not like that, she did not often want to stay in Clair's dorm, let alone a cage. The cat was full of kitten energy, even if she was just over a year old she still thought she was a wee little kitten.

She had yet to have time to train Kiwi fully, the cat had the basics, she knew to come when she was called. But Clair wanted to get in contact with him, to stress just how bad she felt about it, yet she felt that he might not want to talk to her, or at least her face. So the only other way was with Kiwi.
She sat down in the courtyard and started to write.

Dear Colin,
I was not sure if you got this letter, I'm not sure if you got it and decided to just not open it, and I get that. I bet you hate me, and you have a good reason to for turning you down for the ball and all. And I am sorry I turned you down, but I can't cancel with my current date, it would not be fair on them.
I hope you are able to find someone else to go to the ball with, and that you enjoy it to the fullest extent. Maybe if you get this we could meet up sometime? I understand if you don't want to.

Clair was not sure if Colin hated her or not, but she did know that she had hurt him, by the look on his face.
Sealing the letter she tied it to Kiwi's collar and walked inside the castle, her hope was that if she could drop the cat off outside the Slytherin common room door, she hoped that someone would find the cat and peak at the note and see the neat writing on the outside that said For Colin and give it to him, and then after about 30 minutes of waiting, Clair would call the cat back, and hope Colin had gotten the note.
