Zoe Pearthel, First Year, Gryffindor

Bubbly, extraverted, loves bright things, talkative, and can't stand being alone. Easily distracted, but can make people feel comfortable easily.

Zoe had an unconventional start to her life. Her mother, a muggle left her as a one week old on the doorstep of her sisters (Zoe's aunt) doorstep. After revealing her pregnancy to Zoe's father, he was unhappy and told Zoe's mother, the truth, that he was a wizard. He then fled to the mountains, to apparently study dragons. Once Zoe's aunt found an infant her doorstep, she and her husband, who Zoe calls Uncle Sal, take the baby in and raise her as one of their own.

The only thing Zoe had to connect her with her parents was the rose gold pendant that her mother placed into the basket where she laid, sleeping, oblivious that she was being abandoned at her aunt's doorstep. Zoe never resented her mother for abandoning her, she was glad her mother gave her up to give her a better life.

Her aunt and uncle, had two sons already, (Gale and Fransisco) gave Zoe a great childhood, where she made lots of friends, one of which, a girl named Marci, was her best friend who she was devastated to leave when she went to Hogwarts. She was part of a football team, which she was a goalie, which made her want to be a keeper when she got to Hogwarts. She studied hard and had a relatively normal life that she loved. That is until, the day she showed magical ability and accidentally made a couple cups of hot cocoa float into the air. There was a great amount of chaos that day leaving the whole household completely confused

Soon after that, a professor from Hogwarts, came to their house and delivered her acceptance letter, and gave a lengthy explanation about the magical world. Before she went to Hogwarts, she already skimmed almost all of the textbooks, not wanting to be behind all the kids who had magical backgrounds.
