Going Crazy With Pain Closed

Kathleen screamed as soon as she woke up. It was living hell, she had never, never experienced something as awful as this before. Pain. Terrible pain, mostly in her heart and in her head, but her whole body was throbbing, she was flinging herself around uncontrollably trying to ease the horror, but just making it more huge, more... there. Her sight was fuzzy and clouded, but she thought she recognised the Hospital Wing, white shapes around her, like beds. Hers seeemed to be the only one which was actually occupied by a student.
Another take, more awful - how on earth was that even possible?! - than the ones before. She screamed, why didn't anyone come? Why didn't anyone ease the pain? She needed help. Badly.
Her surroundings slowly slid into focus. She was too distracted to recognise it at first. Her white sheet wasn't white. It was soaked right through with red, with blood, probably her own. It set her off screaming all over again. She didn't dare lift the bedsheets, in fear of what would await her underneath. What had happened to her?
This was a nightmare. And she had no idea how to wake up. She started sobbing, she would not be able to bear this. No.

Be yourself, everyone else is already taken.
