Sen walked through the pilar, glancing around. He was a bit.. lightheaded. He just walked through a solid! He still couldn’t believe it. He gripped his mother’s hand tightly. She looked down at him, smiling softly. “You excited Sen?” she asked. Sen looked down. “I don’t know,” he admitted. “Will I make any friends?” he mumbled, worry hanging in his voice. His father, who overheard him, laughed. “Of course you will! You’re a lovely boy. Who wouldn’t want to?” Sen smiled. “Thank you father. But..will you send me letters every week?” he asked. His parents nodded. Sen felt relived. They waited by the platform, surrounded by many other children with their parents. Sen looked curiously at the other family, observing their trolley. This was very strange indeed.
Suddenly, the sound of the train came whooshing. Sen looked up, alarmed. Had time gone by already? Tears pricked at his eyes. He wouldn’t see his family in a few months, which seemed like a long time. As the red train slowed to a stop, children immediately got on, saying goodbye to their parents. Sen narrowed his eyes, he had to be brave. “Goodbye dad, goodbye mom. I love you!” he hugged them both, pecking them on the cheek. “have fun Sen! Here. I gave you some coins for candy on the bus!”his mother handed him the coins. “Thank you! I’ll miss you all!” he started dragging his trunk in the train and waved at his parents. He waved at them as the train started moving as wouldn’t stop waving until they disappeared from view.
