letter from no one. Pt 2
Forward Date : 10th of September, 2022
[Continue from part 1.]
Pea starts writing the letter to her father with her tears profusely coming down the side of her cheeks. She just receives the news several minutes ago from an unknown letter that she sure is written by her father who doesn't have the gut to tell her in person. She wrote the letter with so much anger and sorrow she didn't care how messy her handwriting are. Ink splattered across the parchment, even several ripped holes due to how hard she is pressing at the quill onto the paper. But she didn't care. It's just anger and frustration at the fact the only person she has ever cared about in her life... gone. No. Even though deep down she knows it's true, her heartache didn't want to believe it. She already has some suspicion that her aunt is investigating the death of her uncle but didn't realize how deep she has gotten herself into. Stupid.... Why did she let her do it on her own? Why didn't she try to stop her even knowing the danger it could cause her aunt? dark thoughts, guilt, and pain continuously eat her inside as if someone has let in a rotten flesh-eating worm unto her skin. Worsen the pain she already feeling now. Please tell me it's not true.
I receive the letter... is Margaret really gone? And are you really that big of a coward to not write your name on the letter!?
After taking several deep breaths.. she manages to calm herself enough and continues to write the letter to her father although the tears are still running down her face. The Owl inside the owlery somehow coo-ing silently somehow seemed like they know that something has happened to the white-haired girl.
She folds that short letter hastily and shoves it inside the envelope written in very rushed writing 'Corbin Fowl' on the face of the envelope. She then gives it to one of the school owls to deliver. Pea still sobbing seems to freeze at the moment, can't think or even breathe properly. Refusing to move from her spot she stayed with her face down and hands folded on a small table in the owlery where she was writing her letter.Please.. I just need confirmation, is it true? is she .... dead? and why? what has happened to her? Tell me everything please.. I'll do anything you want me to do- I know you loathe me. But this once- Tell me the truth.
Pea.

letter from no one. Pt 2
She did not realize she have been staying there for several hours. She already missed a few of her lessons. Face planted onto the small table on the owlery where she used to spend her time writing letters to.. to her aunt. She could not stop thinking of her- even though she had grown too tired to let out a single tear anymore. Suddenly she felt something sharp on her head, pecking her. The school owl return, this time accompanied by what looks like the same bird that have delivered the letter the first time. Black feather, long-beaked. She grabs the letter attached to the crow's feet and opens it begrudgingly, scared of what is inside.
Lies.
LIES.
LIES!
It was all lies, what her father said. She would never trust a word coming out of that man's letter ever again. The black crow- it was the same as the bird that send the first letter so why did he lie about sending that?
But the only thing she knows deep down is that her father is telling the truth about her aunt. Pea freezes as tears who she thought had dried up start to flow in her cheeks again. It is true. She is gone. Gone from this world, gone from her life. Forever. No more talking to her, no more of her daisy scent after she hugs her, no more of her warm embrace after every heartache every sadness she has ever felt like this one. Her heart felt like it was sliced with a dull knife- over and over again.
Pain. She did not know how long these painful feelings will leave her, but for the time being, it felt like this pain will eat her inside for the rest of her days. And she did not know if she can survive it any longer.

My dear sweet Pea,
I have to apologize that you have to receive the news that way. I assure you... whatever letter you have received, it was not me who send it. I was about to pay you a visit to Hogwarts immediately after receiving the news, but it seems that you have heard it yourself.
Yes. Margaret... didn't make it. We have tried our best to recover her in St. Mungos, but, it seems that our efforts end in disappointment. I am sorry that you have to hear it this way. Pea- Trust me when I say I tried to stop her, but you are well aware of your aunt's stubbornness when it comes to Jay. I have failed to protect her as I failed to protect Jay. I am deeply.. ashamed of myself as all I can say for this matter is I'm sorry.
Pea, my darling, I promise you whoever has done this. I shall find them and get them the justice they deserved. But for now, that is all I can say about the matter. I will answer all of your questions later when I have met you in person.
Pea- I never loathed you, for the person I have loathed most is myself for giving you up. I was a foolish man, who was sad and helpless. I was to blame for everything happening to your life as I have failed in every single aspect of it. But, believe me, this time when I say, I have changed. I will keep changing and I will become a better father to you. So if you allow it, I will gladly welcome you into my house again. Although I do understand that you still have some resentment against me and that is exceptionally fine. I will wait for you.
Love, your father,
Corbin.
