Athena loved shopping in Diagon Alley. Especially in Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. She had been shopping for her first year at Hogwarts when she had spotted the shop and begged her mother to let her go there. Because her mother needed to visit Gringotts, she allowed Athena to go in there, and meet her at Flourish and Blotts half an hour later. Athena had run inside like an excited child on christmas, while searching her pockets for a few extra sickles to spend. Dissapointed, she realised she almost didn't have any left. She should have brought more money from home.
"Stupid me." she muttered while opening the door and walking in. She could at least have a look and see if there was any cheap things there. When she got in she realised it was really crowded. It wasn't weird of course, everyone was shopping for there Hogwarts stuff around this time, but there was so much people she could barely see to the other end of the shop. She walked up to the closest shelf and started inspecting a deck of Exploding Snap, knowing very well she couldn't afford. But it didn''t matter, she already had a deck at home. She wondered if her mother would buy her a Fanged Frisbee, but she would probably say that she couldn't have one at home, because her little brother Jason would hurt herself with it or something. She sighed. What was the point of being here if she didn't have any money, and wasn't allowed to buy anything even remotely dangerous?

"Hi," Said a voice behind Athena. When Athena turned around, she spotted a girl with Hogwarts Robes , her hair tucked neatly and her hat as straight as a pin. "It's my favorite shop as well. I love going in here. I'm Winter, by the way. What about you?" As Winter spoke, she fumbled her pockets for something, completly unaware that she had just spoke to a random girl.

Winter was wearing the black robes of Hogwarts and a scarf that was a bold blue - A Ravenclaw, that was obvious. As Winter kept looking at several things from her pockets, people passing by could see the curious stuff that she was holding. A silver watch, with shining silver back with several words engraved on it, it was somewhat clearly seen. It said "Though miles apart, I am still in your heart. Beloved, Summer xx". Then, she pulled out a quill which has several words scarped on it. "Witty, Creative, A Ravenclaw - Faith" was what it read. The things became more curious, until she reached several shiny sickles that she held out with pride. Then, Winter turned to a rather stunned Athena.
"Sorry about that! Have you got your money? I say, these are simply super - " Winter pointed towards some Edible Quills.

"Hi,"
Athena turned around. A girl in her age stood behind her. She had long blonde hair and sparkly blue eyes.
"It's my favorite shop as well. I love going in here. I'm Winter, by the way. What about you?"
"Oh" Athena said stupidly, a bit confused. She hadn't had time to get ready for this conversation! But she really liked her name. Winter, it fit her, she reminded her of the winter, but in a good way. Liek the best parts of the winter, curling up against a fireplace with a book and a cup of hot chocolate or tea.
"Hello, I'm Athena. And yeah, this shop is really great. I'm thinking about buying a wizard's chess." Winter grabbed a bunch of stuff from her pockets, until she finally got a couple of sickles.
"Sorry about that! Have you got your money? I say, these are simply super - " she said and pointed to som Edible Quills.
"Yeah, those are good, but I prefer fizzing whisbees and chocolate frogs to be honest. they have a bit more flavour." Athena said, proud of herself for being able to hold up a conversation.
"And I don't got that much money actually. I forgot most of it at home." She was disappointed in herself for not remembering that, money is the most important thing to bring when you are shopping!
She observed a shelf with different potions for a while. It was mostly joke poitons, but some were actually quite useful.
"Is this your first year at Hogwarts?" she asked, trying to keep the conversation going.
