The Monster Book Of Monsters
Kathleen screamed. "Help! Help!" The book was clinging to her arm, biting and gnarling furiously. Where on earth was this damn shopkeeper? She could hear him conversing with one of the assistants: Something about "the invisible book of Invisibility". Did they care more about invisible books than about a customer practically being eaten? Kathleen struggled to read the cover of the volume which now swang back and forth still sinking its fangs into her arm. The Monster Book Of Monsters. Yes, this... thing was definitely a monster. It snapped at her long wavy hair as though it had done Legilimency and delved into her thoughts. The book tugged and Kathleen howled with pain. Why had she touched this stupid thing? She should just have concentrated on her school supplies instead of trying to read a dangerous furry volume in the far corner of the shop.
"HA!" Finally, she had managed to lure the book off by throwing it another book. It jumped at this (A History of Hogwarts, a boring book anway) and tore it's pages apart. Kathleen backed off, but suddenly she bumped into someone.
Be yourself, everyone else is already taken.
