It was not easy waiting for summer, waiting for a reason to go to London. There were so many obligations, to Hogwarts, to their families and to the mystery placed at their feet. yet there was answers here in London, answers to Halford's past and to whatever curiosity might have been piqued by the letter's strange contents. They would not hear again from Thaddeus, they had enough to think about already and every communication with them just dug them into a deeper hole that they still needed to explore.
The keys in that lead-lined box were numbered. There was an address on each of them - the brass, the silver and the black. The houses were in Greenwich specifically -- Thames Path, S Extension. #413, #415 and #417. There was an issue with this of course, the River Thames runs through London and they would find themselves on the shore of the River Thames with no Thames Path S. Extension in sight. There was however a NE Extension that ran along the southern border of the Island Gardens. There was the Greenwich Foot Tunnel, the lift was out but the stairs were open twenty-hour hours a day. Besides that, this was muggle London on a hot summer day.
There was a fair amount of foot traffic, a few boats bobbing on the surface of the river and couples picnicking in the grass. Peaceful, a bit hot for any of their tastes unless they had a preference for tropical climates. It was a steamy 37 C today with high humidity, the sky was near cloudless and there was a faint breeze that would fail to alleviate the inhumane temperatures which were only compounded by the concrete and asphalt. their only respite was the canopy provided by the trees, the shade they offered would soothe their soon to be burned skin if they were not careful.
Where would they go from here?

A gift from Thaddeus Athanatos was not to be trusted given the context. There could be a number of things waiting for Orion, Tuesday, and Halford. Thaddeus' silence had also been concerning, but they had waited months for this moment, so there was no use in backing down now.
To say it was hot would be an understatement. Orion could not remember the last time London had been this warm. Beads of sweat formed along his forehead as he squinted at the scene ahead of them. There was no relief in an umbrella charm either with the presence of so many muggles. He felt almost nude with his lack of a suit and his usual robes, wearing a what he assumed muggles often wore during weather like this; a green cotton button up shirt that had only been buttoned up his lower chest, a pair of (Merlin help him) khakis, leather boat shoes, a panama hat, and a large pair of aviator sunglasses. Any comment about his appearance would be promptly ignored.
His elder wood wand was tucked up one of his sleeves. Squinting at the lack of a path, Orion stepped out of the tree's shaded mercy and towards the water's edge. A lack of an S Extension did not mean it didn't exist. He reached a foot between the metal guardrail to see if it landed on solid ground despite the lack of a path. "Mardi, watch for muggles." He asked his friend, glancing around him. "We can try revelio but it might be too simple. Halford, you had the vision, will a Fidelius Charm reveal anything?"
He wouldn't wait for his friend's answer. When the coast was clear he would pull out the tip of his wand and try to quickly cast, "Cave inimicum." He would have to remove it later, but the last thing they needed was muggles seeing them.

Orion looked the role of obnoxious tourist, he only lacked a fanny pack. Orion was not just ignored, he was avoided by the shifting masses of picnickers and day walkers. As with many things in the magical world, wizards are hidden in the places one would least suspect. This was how the veil had remained between the wizarding world and the muggle world.
Orion was talking madness to his friends if they were even there, perhaps slow walkers taking over a month to arrive at the preordained destination. The address they were given, like many wizarding addresses was not a simple, obvious structure with a white fence and a numbered door that they only needed to unlock with their key. No, these were more trying encounters, but most wizards knew the basic tricks. Often an incantation, a stone, something of that regard was necessary to reveal what would have been hidden. But in such a public place? That would be utter madness and while Thaddeus was a powerful individual, he was not known to take unnecessary risks. Gamblers rarely get to where this man was by chance alone.
Orion would cast Cave Inimicum so that he might continue his investigation potentially alone. Unseen by muggles, he would have to search for what was hidden on the shore of the River Thames.

Distractions had riddled the man's mind like maggots to a corpse. Even now, there was nothing the man could do to help prevent the dark thoughts from crossing his mind. Tuesday knew this might be the darkest path the trio could follow, but in reality, the former Auror couldn't know if that was true. So the man could only follow his own feet and attempt to make this best possible future an actuality. From ashes rises a Pheonix.
Orion's spell had successfully diverted the prying eyes of the No-majs but kept his eyes peeled anyways. Finally, a soft affirmative was spoken so that his friends knew he understood. The simplicity of the task made Tuesday's eyes burn with annoyance, but maybe it was because of the hard feelings that the man had been harboring that were keeping the rift between them.
The keys the men had in their possession were nothing to scoff at. Metal that felt like chains and shackles more than a gateway into a new home weighed down Irons' spirit and grated at the man's nerves. How ironic that his namesake was the opposite of how he felt. Were he and his friends no more than clay to be molded by Anthantos? Were they only small pieces on a much larger chess board? Tuesday couldn't bare not knowing.
As the estates in the distance grew more prominent and the men grew closer, only the feeling of dread was stacking like bricks in the man's gut. Like a dementor's kiss, Tuesday felt this was not going anywhere good. As the No-majs avoided the trio, the Herbology professor let his eyes wander. What was he looking for? What did he need to see? The focus of his eyes was strictly on those things meant to be hidden.
