Walking from the grounds to the third floor of the castle should be easy, but it was tiring. It was shocking that with a bonfire outside, a quarter of the students' population was in the Hospital Wing. There were a rainbow of injuries that Hufflepuff's were experiencing. Some were unscathed, while others were healing from burns.

Bloom wondered if it was perhaps unprofessional to have the BlossomFest continuing with so many students wounded. Would it have been better to halt the festivities to be there for the Hufflepuff's, or is this just a gimmick to get the attention away from them? Even so, if Bloom was a Hufflepuff who was injured, she would feel completely left out--especially during her first year.

Although nighttime, Bloom was unaware if she was able to enter the wing. Arriving at the door, she opened it slowly, only to find that there were visitors and people were up. She was glad that she was not alone in wanting to miss out on the bonfire to check on her friend. Fully walking in, Bloom looked around the room. There were beds everywhere.

Where's Reid... she thought to herself, trying to find the brunette boy. Tip-toeing between beds, she finally found him in the third to last row. Bloom made her way to him, but immediately paused to look around. Was Sabrina around? She did not want to start anything-- especially since she was not a fan of Sabrina as it was.

Luckily, there was no familiar red-haired girl walking around or near him, so Bloom made her way to Reid, her marshmallow sandwich still in hand for him.

When she arrived at his bedside, Bloom smiled. "I think Hufflepuff has an odd way of participating in bonfires, what do you think?" she asked, trying to make a joke of the situation. Granted, a simple 'hello' or 'how are you feeling' would have been better, but Bloom was not the time of person to go straight to the cliche.

Bloom finally got to see what he was in the hospital for. He was pretty beaten up from the camping trip. Feeling as though she stared for too long, Bloom cleared her throat and held up her right hand, where a very melted marshmallow sandwich was held.

"I figured since you can't come to the bonfire, I'd bring the bonfire to you... Minus the fire..., Bloom kicked herself for making another terrible joke. Perhaps the jokes were needed as she felt awkward with him-- they hadn't seen each other face-to-face in quite a long time. The last time they interacted with each other was when she was under the love potion spell.
