Alex looked at the black-and-red train in front of him. She was still afraid, very afraid of the people here, even.

After saying goodbye to his family, Alex starts looking for an empty compartment. When she finds an empty place, she looks out the window. Alex sees her family talking worriedly.

She continues to wave at them until his family moves away. As the train starts to leave, Alex opens the small bag he has with him and checks that everything is in place.

Sunscreen, stress pills, a sketch pad, .
pen holder, yes, everything is in place, thought Alex, trying to calm herself.

To calm down a bit and pass the time, Alex took out his sketchbook and began to draw a blue snow flower. "I guess they wouldn't say anything about that," said Alex.

Realizing that he is still having trouble breathing, Alex takes out a book and begins to read. She has to relax somehow.

While reading, Alex noticed that she was playing with her white hair.

Emily looked at the train and then at her family. Her older siblings offered her and her twin siblings to sit with them in their compartment. Emily's twin siblings said yes, but Emily said that she'd look around before going back to them. She didn't really want to sit with her siblings. She would if she really had to, but she hoped she didn't.

Emily said goodbye to her mother and cousin and then she boarded the train. She looked in every compartment before she decided to go to her sibling's compartment. On her way to their compartment, she came across an empty compartment with only one person in it. Emily looked at the person and she saw that they were looking at a box and a note.

Emily didn't really want to interrupt them but she wanted to know if she could sit with them, so she asked nicely, "Um, hi. May I sit here?"

Emily stood in the doorway waiting for an answer. She hoped she didn't scare them. Emily decided to look at the person and she noticed that they were a girl. But she wasn't exactly sure. If the girl didn't want her to sit with her then she'd just leave her alone and go sit with her siblings. She hoped that wasn't the case tho.

Alex looked up from the book when he heard a voice. She made eye contact with the yellow eyed girl with pink hair, who was waiting at the door. Alex shook his head to keep her from waiting any longer.

Alex watched her sit on the couch. She wondered if there was normally pink hair.

"I'm going to ask you something, I was really curious, is your hair really pink or just dyed?"

Yes, that was the only issue Alex got stuck with.

'You should have asked her her name first'

Alex turned to her and looked into her yellow eyes. She started to speak a little bit quietly.


"I didn't ask your name, what's your name? I guess it's a little late."

'Are you relieved now?'

'Yes.'

Alex began to look out the window. She didn't know these places, and now there was a girl she didn't know before. This time her family was not with him.


This is very difficult for Alex, who is not open to new things, but she thought he could do it with the girl in front of him.

An involuntary smile formed on Alex's face at the thought of that. She involuntarily stuck his head out of the window. She was still afraid.

When Emily saw the girl look at her and then when she shock her head, Emily quickly sat across from her. After she set her stuff down she heard the girl speak. She listened then said,

"Ya. Its died. My cousin dared me to dye my hair pink. Once it goes back to brown I'll bye it a different color. No one has asked me about my hair. I guess they thought it was natural."

Once there was silence, Emily went threw her bag she saw a drawing book. She decided to draw cause she had ideas about what to draw. While she was drawing she heard the girl speak again. She listened then said,

"My names Emily. Emily Flower. Its not too late to ask what my name is. Anyway, what's your name?"

Emily then went back to drawing. After she finished her first drawing she looked at the window and decided to draw the scenery. After she finished her second drawing she wondered what else to draw.

"Maybe I should draw me and my family. As well as my friends. Ya, I'll do that. I'm also glad that she asked me if my hair was died or not since no one else asked." Emily thought to herself.

She then stared drawing her and her family. After she was done drawing her parents she knew that this drawing was going to take a while. But she continued to draw anyway.

Alex couldn't help but be surprised to hear the story. It was a very strange story. She her with a smile.

"It was a beautiful story. But the pink suits you very well."

"I'm glad Emily, I'm Alex Are."

Meanwhile, her mouse Jack was trying to get out of her pocket. Alex took out her naughty mouse and placed it on her shoulder.

When Emily heard her talking to herself, Alex looked in that direction, drawing or planning. She asked a little shyly

"What are you drawing? If you are drawing, can I have a look?"

Alex started to look outside. Even if everything changed, his love for nature would not change

While I was thinking this, the food truck came. Even though he didn't have food, he didn't plan to buy these meals in case he got something bad. She replied, trying to be kind.

"No thanks, I'm not hungry. Do you want something, Emily?"


Alex looked at Emily curiously. Meanwhile, her stomach rumbling loudly. As a second option, she began to tell another lie.

"I already have my dinner with me. If you're going to buy something, take it, Emily."

Alex couldn't help but wonder if I was being rude.

Emily wondered what the girl was going to say about her story. When she heard her talk, she listened, then she heard her introduce herself. Emily then said,

Thanks, Alex! I feel like the dye will run out soon. Once it does, I get to dye my cousins hair from silver to any color I want! I don't know which color yet tho."

Emily then went back to drawing. Once she was done she looked up to see a mouse on Alex's shoulder. Emily then said in her mind,

Why is there a mouse on Alex's shoulder? Oh! Its probably her pet! I wish I could have a pet. I still need one. Maybe next year or during the summer I can get a pet cat. I'll have to ask someone to go with me tho.

After she was all done thinking to herself, Emily heard Alex speak again, so she listened then said,

Sure! I'm just drawing my family and my friends. I'm all done anyway. You can look at them."

She then passed her drawing book to Alex. After Alex took the book the trolley came. Emily looked in her pockets and she saw money. She then got up and bought some food. Emily then sat back done and asked,

"Want any? I bought a little bit too much. I had a lot of money with me. Its fine if you don't want any. I'll just give them to my siblings."

She then waited for a reply. While she was waiting she decided to eat of box of every flavour beans.

Alex spoke thoughtfully:

"Two colors look good on you, believe me"

Alex was sincere when he said this. She didn't like lying.

She was very surprised when he took the drawing pad from Emily's hand. Because she had beautiful drawings.

"You are very talented. I draw from time to time, but I mostly draw nature pictures"

Her mouse, Jack, insisted on not standing on her shoulder.

"Uh... I don't know... I really don't know."

She was picky about food, especially new ones, but the rumbling in her stomach was becoming unbearable.

Finally, she can't stand it and Alex takes something from the box in Emily's hand.

When you put it in your mouth, you get a nasty taste in your mouth. She instantly spit on her hand and sees that she has a green bean in her hand.

"This is what I ate and this why is so disgusting?

She took the water from his bag and drank it. She didn't understand why he was doing this. She ate something she didn't even know, without asking why?

"Do you have anything 'normal' for me with you?"

When he looked in her bag to see if he had it with him, she saw that it had rat mint. She gave it to his mouse, who couldn't stand on her shoulder.

Emily continued eating the beans until she heard Alex speak. She smiled at the compliment and said,

"Why thank you. I can already see the brown coming back. Maybe I'll have brown hair for a week then change it to purple."

So far she was the only one in her family besides her cousin that died her hair. Emily liked dying her hair since it was fun to have a new color after the old one went away.

Emily then looked at Alex and saw that she is holding her drawing book. She wondered what she was going to say until she heard her speak. She listened then said,

"Thanks! I'm the best drawer in my family. Oh, that's cool! I draw anything that comes to mind."

Emily wondered what Alex's answer was going to be to her question. She really did buy too much food. But she didn't save some of her money anyway since she didnt want to waste I at all.

She then heard Alex speak. She noticed that Alex wasnt sure if she should take what she was offering or not. She then saw her take a bean and eat it. Emily knew that she had to reply so she did after Alex asked a question. Emily said,

"He heh, don't worry. They aren't all that bad. What d'you mean by normal? I have a Pumpkin Pastie. Chocolate frogs. And other things. I basically bought the whole cart. Well, some of everything actually."
