The Welsh boy yawned loudly as he slumped over his desk behind his textbook in class. The class was quiet as their teacher, Professor Wade, lectured the lesson for the day, but Jack was bored. He'd already read up on said lesson the previous weekend and had trouble getting himself to pay attention.

Of course, Jack made a big show of being bored and uninterested in class on purpose. He didn't want anyone to know how interested he was in his subjects and how hard he studied them after all, so he only worked on them outside of class, teaching himself the curriculum prior to what was taught in the classroom. Unfortunately, that meant leaving little for him to do during actual class time and he longed for a distraction.

Sometimes he liked to pay attention to his classmates around him, but none had particularly grabbed his attention just then. None, at least, until Henry Knight, one of Jack's fellow Snape dormmates appeared to be up to suspicious activities nearby. Jack's thick brow rose curiously and he leaned over to try to see what Henry was doing as inconspicuously as he could. He hoped Professor Wade's attention wouldn't have been caught as his own was.

"Psst. Knight," Jack spoke up, attempting to get Henry to look his way. "What are you doing?"
