Basics and Pre-Hogwarts History

History: Gisela was born to an opulently wealthy family who essentially owned the richest city in their region on the 23rd Sep 2009 in the Scottish city of Glasgow. Her mother was the matriarch of the family and responsible for its extreme success, making their fuel company a household name. She was smart, driven and ambitious and despite loving her children dearly often unintentionally neglected their emotional needs; yet their father (having a more domestic role) made up for it with his gentle and ever present nature. Gisela had four brothers in total, two older and two younger whom she was extremely close to and adored their mischievous nature. At times though she would feel left out as it seemed as the two sets of twins would always be closer to other than to her.

Up until she was eight Gisela attended the most reputed school in the country, Clarigaion College in which she received an elite education and was one of its brightest students, yet she was often quiet and reserved; often avoiding social situations and spending her days with her dearest friend Leah. She adored art and reading and discovered a new thing to obsess over almost every week which she would vividly describe to Leah about.

One day her family lost all of their wealth and in an attempt to gain a fresh start they moved from Scotland to England and became farmers to make ends meet. The reason though for the dramatic uproot was a result of Gisela's first instance of magic in which her mother's evil business partner was plotting to out her mother of their vastly successful fuel empire, Gisela's got a bit too angry whilst uncovering this plan and accidentally set one of the warehouses alight at eight years old as she caused slight damaged to a wire which began sparking and unfortunately resulted in a not so slight fire. Honestly she still doesn't fully understand what happened, just that she became red hot with anger and the wires began to heat up too. A fire to a warehouse was extremely scandalous for a fuels company you see and the reputation of the business was tarnished; Gisela's dad had been witness to the incident and almost fainted from the shock as did the rest of her family when learning the same. He family was not mad in the slightest as they were so shocked to discover that magic really existed, and as they wanted to keep Gisela safe explained the situation to be a result of their own carelessness. This turned out to be extremely positive for the family as they were able to move to Merton England to become farmers, they all found peace in a simpler life and were able to become closer. Gisela was particularly fond of having more time to spend with her mother.

After her family comfortably settled into their new life, Gisela was hastily greeted by an unnamed professor sent from the Ministry of Magic whom of course had been surveying the situation all along and she was thus introduced into the world of magic. After months of anticipation and a very confusing trip to Diagon Alley, Gisela made her first strides as a witch as she the boarded the Hogwarts Express. Soon after she became a Ravenclaw.
