"We are late!" exclaimed Matthew, looking at the Muggle watch that Mike had given him for his birthday. "Quarter past six. The trip took too long!"
George rolled her eyes at hearing her brother. Sometimes Matt exhasperated her almost as much as Maggie. She understood that her brother didn't wanted to miss the reservation of the rooms; after all, that would ruin the entire weekend since they were supposed to spend Friday, Saturday and Sunday there. But still, he was a wizard: he had to know something about magic. She often asked herself how could she be so smart and still have such a stupid brother.
"Apparation is instantaneous, you dumb. We're NOT late."
"Don't call me dumb!"
"You can't even tell time."
"Yes I do!"
"No, you don't!"
"Kids, stop it." cut them off Jacob.
"He started it! He says it's late!" defended Gia pointing at her brother with hatred.
"She says I can't tell time!" accused Matt.
"That's enough." spoke Everly this time, approaching her husband with Francis in her arms. "Matt, honey, we are not late, and Gia, beauty, your brother does know how to tell time. It's just that magic and technology don't get along."
"You mean... the apparition made the clock go crazy?" asked George.
"Exactly." Gianna gave a sufficient half-smirk at her mother's words.
"Oh." muttered Matthew. After a few seconds, he took a swipe at his sister. "I told you I can tell time."
George hit back quickly, irritated. "I told you we were on time."
Everly sighed and Jacob shook his head. He glanced at his wife and then turned his gaze back to his children. He handed a key to each one.
"Why don't you two go get the rooms?"
Georgiana and Matthew looked at each other.
"I'll sleep with John!" shouted Gia before running off.
"Not fair, I'm not sleeping with Maggie! She talks asleep!" replied Matt running after her.
George turned her head back and laughed as she took advantage. That boy was so slow. She turned her head to the front and ran flat out into the figure of a girl. "Wow!" She put up her hands and braked, though not in time to avoid the collision. Luckily, she managed to keep her balance standing on her feet... unlike the other girl.
"Ush, sorry." she muttered stepping back. Matthew came in laughing loudly.
"Dude, and then I'm the dumb one..." he muttered between guffaws.
"Shut up you fool." Gia shushed him, glaring at him with hatred. She turned her gaze back to the girl. Not that she wanted to, but she kind of feel forced to introduce herself. Meaning, once you apologized, what else are you supposed to do? She had just hit a girl!
"Hum, I'm George." she muttered holding out her hand. "And he's Matt." she said pointing to her brother with a nod of her head.

Ramzy and her fathers (Stephen and Alan) had arrived just in a knick of time before the inn was overfilled with recipients looking for a room to stay in as they knew how crowded it could get on the weekends. Ramzy was more than excited to be close to the wizarding community again because despite her living with wizarding parents she didn't know the vast majority of wizardly deeds due to her father's strict life structure in keeping her shelter. Every opportunity out in town was like a blessing to her, as the three of them enter what looked to be a cramped building from the outside but was more spacious on the inside. Her brown eyes traveled the surrounding area, watching as teapots flew across the room to deliver their beverages to awaiting customers, how a notepad and quill followed behind a frazzled waitress who was trying her hardest to get everyones' order in to be served. Ramzy looked up at Stephen who smiled and gave her a big thumbs up while Alan was already off to head to the counter to get the room instructions situated. As much as Ramzy loved the wizarding community sometimes it frightened her, and to prove her point, her body flinched violently when a spark of fire ignited from the end of someone's wand, some bar trick they must have been performing, however, Ramzy didn't get to see it as she cowered under the cloak of her father Stephen. He laughed and patted her shoulder before gently grabbing her hand and leading her over to Alan who was jingling a pair of keys in his hands.

Upstairs was more quiet than downstairs and for some reason, Ramzy was grateful for that, approximately ten flights of crooked wooden stairs the three of them climb. Ramzy was confused and annoyed... 'for us to be wizards and witches this was an abnormal about of stairs to climb... couldn't they come up with something better?' Ramzy thought to herself as alas they finally stopped in front of a hard wooden door. Alan handed Ramzy the key to unlocking their new "home" for the upcoming weekend. Once inside it revealed a small living room section that housed a sofa and a bookcase to the side of it along with the other things a regular living room might have. Two doors were off to the side, Ramzy ran quickly to one of them as she pushed it open to show her a single bed with a wardrobe pressed against the wall and a mirror hanging behind the door. Ramzy quickly claimed the room to be her own as she went to go see what was behind the other wooden door, however, was stopped in her tracks when she heard her father's softly bickering behind it. She hated when they argued, it was so senseless to her. She took notice of the keys sitting on the coffee table and scooped them up, holding them tightly in her hand as she went to leave through the same hard wooden door they just came through.

Back in the hallways of the bustling inn, Ramzy decided she'd do a bit of exploring on her own, originally she was supposed to go with Stephen but plans had changed and she had only but to adapt to the outcome. She walked slowly as her curious eyes looked at every person she passed, and all the paintings on the walls that waved or smiled at her. She didn't have many magical paintings at home so this was a delight to see. As she turned to try to interact with one of the paintings, she couldn't help the goofy smile that came to her face as the circus-themed art started to put on a show for her. She giggled to herself and started to raise her hands to applaud them. That action was quickly brought to a halt as she was slammed to the ground. A small whimper left her lips as she peered up to see who would cause her such damage. Her eyes came in contact with a pair of almond brown ones as she stared up at them. She could hear another voice talk beside the culprit that knocked her down but she was mainly focused on him.

"Hum, I'm George."Ramzy listened to the voice of George and watched as a hand extended toward Ramzy who was still on the ground. She took it gently as she pulled herself to her feet and dusted off her now soiled dress. "And he's Matt." Ramzy's eyes flickered to that other voice she must have been tuning out earlier as she stared at the boy whose name was Matt now.

'Don't be rude Ramzy, say something... speak!' Ramzy thought to herself as she cleared her throat and glanced at the circus painting which was now empty. Her mood dampened a bit but she pushed out her first set of words to the two standing before her.

Uh... my name is Ramzy... Ramzy Rossi... and apology accepted. I suppose I shouldn't be standing in the middle of the hallway anyways heh... Ramzy's cheeks flushed pink as she noticed she wasn't even looking at the two anymore so she forced her gaze towards them again. My papas and I just got here today, and I was just doing a bit of exploring... it's not everyday I get to go out to magical inns. How about you guys? Do you come here often?

George helped the girl back to her feet and watched her look away from them to the painting. She frowned slightly, what was so interesting about an empty painting? The characters weren't even there, why was she just staring at the empty canvas? She glanced at her brother, who shrugged clueless.
Suddenly the girl started talking, even though she wasn't even looking at the two of them. That, to George, was the least strange thing about her. After all, in the Rees' house it was common not to look directly at each other, and even to converse on opposite sides of the house.
Ramzy turned to the kids, Gia noticed a slight blush on her cheeks as they looked at each other. Was there something wrong with herself, or was it just that Ramzy was shy? She looked away from her for a second and gave her a quick glance from head to toe.
«Not shy,» she decided. Maybe embarrassed. But definitely communicative. Far too communicative.
Georgiana listened to her explanation as Matthew took his place beside her. Unnecessary words, if it came to the subject, George wasn't too keen on chitchats. But that was fine, she didn't really have anything more important to do other than fight with her brother over rooms. And considering Ramzy had some kind of charming aura... Well, a chat hadn't kill anyone before, right?
"How about you guys? Do you come here often?"
"All the time!" said Matt quickly, before his sister could say anything. "Well, not all the time, but we do come here a lot. Almost every month. It's great. You can go to Diagon Alley every day, even if you're not going to buy anything. But in case you do buy, the best place is Florean Fortescue because they have a huge ic..."
"We do, we come often." interrupted Gianna, answering the question directly, before Matt went on too long. The enthusiastic boy gave his older sister an outraged look.
"So, you like exploring, huh?" continued Gia, ignoring Matthew, perhaps trying to draw Ramzy's attention to herself. "Do you mean like having adventures or just discovering new things? And why don't you frequent magical inns with your family?" she asked curiously. "Are you muggle born? Half blood? Squib?"
Her intention was not to interrogate Ramzy. George simply liked to know the why of things, and taking in account the girl had stared at the painting when there was no one in it, she was starting to think she had no magical ascendance. Problem was that, most of the times, Gia got downright irritating with all her questions and reasoning.

Ramzy took notice of the quick up and down George had given her but thought nothing of it as she, made sure to shift her gaze between George and Matt frequently so as to not give off a staring impression. As Matt started to talk animatedly Ramzy couldn't help but smile at his behaviour she loved when people wanted to talk to her, however, the smile fell just a bit when George started to talk again. Just another glance at him gave off the vibe of not even wanting to be standing in Ramzy's presence. She did her best to ignore it nonetheless, as George went ahead to ask Ramzy some questions.

"Oh yes! I love to explore, and finding out more about things in the outside world is one of my favourite hobbies. And I am a uh pureblood... what makes you ask that? Do I look like someone who is not of magic or something?" Ramzy was a bit confused and even took a step back from the two as the rapid-fire of questions were thrown at her. "Are you two not purebloods? Are your parents' muggles?" Ramzy cocked an eyebrow up in curiosity, the two standing before her didn't look like they were a part of a muggle family Matt did state that they went to magical inns all the time. "I mean... forgive me that was rude of me... uh I don't really come to magical inns often no... my fathers and I usually tend to just stay at our house and make do with what we have. Or whenever my fathers do go out on a business trip, I just stay at home with my nanny." Ramzy nodded her head matter-of-factly at the statement, not even thinking twice about what the two might have to say about Ramzy stating she had multiple fathers.

As she looked again at the painting the figures had appeared again, and giddily Ramzy gasped and clapped her hands as she turned her attention back to the group of circus performers that started their performance back up. "Oh goody! They're back! Did you guys see!? The performers were going to do a tightrope act before uh the small incident we had, come come! Look at them, they're awfully funny." Ramzy waved for them to come to stand by her as she moved over to the side a bit to allow them to have room if they felt the incline to accept her invitation to the viewing.

Although she did not smile, a particular look (a mixture of pride and admiration) came into George's eyes. For her, virtually anyone who showed an affinity for adventure (and more particularly for pranks) almost automatically earned her respect.
"Oh, sorry. It was not like I thought there was something less magical about you. You just– got me a little confused because of the way you were staring at the painting." She stated.
"No, we are purebloods as well. Both mum and dad come from an extensive lineage of witches and wizards."
"And it wasn't rude!" added Matt to reassure her. "We don't care much about that stuff honestly. Being mistaken for muggles doesn't offend us."
The characters in the painting appeared again and Ramzy turned to them.
"Oh goody! They're back! Did you guys see!?"
«So that was the reason.» thought Gianna, though considering Ramzy's blood status it still seemed a rather strange reaction to her. But why couldn't people get excited? Matthew, however, didn't seem willing to shut up his confusion.
"Don't you and your fathers have any magical paintings at home?" he asked, looking at her strangely.
"Matt, it doesn't have to do with it being a painting. It's a circus." said his sister, and they both approached to see.
Gia didn't had any special interest for the circus, normally she saw it as a 'small kids' kind of fun. She usually preferred to stay in home and fly on her broom, or doing something more fun with Mike. "It is a good number, though. They are talented." she said, nodding at the performance.
"Wow. That was impressive." she murmured, clapping her hands slowly three times as one of the acrobats launched himself off the trapeze and spun around. The figure took a deep bow.

Oh yes... well I do come from magic, it's just they've done so well in entertaining me. I guess I got a tad bit more excited than usual. Ramzy seem to have to force her eyes to look away from the act as they were just wrapping it up and tending to the mess that they made. As Ramzy turned to face George she noticed their presence was a bit closer than before. ' It was probably just to see the act, don't be weird now...' So! You were talking about something along the lines of an adventure. I do have to warn you, that people usually have a hard time keeping up with me. Are you up for let us say a challenge in this feat? Ramzy smiled as she rocked on her toes and giggled softly. Ramzy loved being a part of something new any chance she got. It wasn't often she met other kids around her age or got to do something completely out of the ordinary while not under her father's or nanny's supervision.

I'll be willing to do whatever activity that is floating around in that brain of yours. The only catch is... we have to be sure to avoid my papas, we're just going to say that they can be a little bit suffocating and if they find out that I'm up to no good then surely my night will come to an end quicker than I hope it would. So what do you say? Are you ready to uhhh rumble!? Ramzy whispered the first part of the sentence about avoiding her parents wanting to make sure no prying ears were around to potentially tell on her being up to no good, her eyes left from Geroge's body as she scanned her surrounding area for bodies that resemble her family members before she exclaimed the questions to George a bit louder, her excitement over-growing what her body could handle.

Quick warning, during vacation George changed her pronouns to she/her. And sorry for disappearing! I don't know where to 'report my presence', hehe.

"Are you up for let us say a challenge in this feat?"
Gianna raised her eyebrows at her words. Oh, had she just challenged her? Things had gotten a hell of a lot more than just funny. It was show time, and not because of the circus people, who was now back to doing their own thing. George eyed Ramzy suspiciously and gave a competitive grin, couldn't help but smile. Next to her, Matt watched the scene with an avid gaze.
Gia liked to be challenged. Even if she lost afterwards, that didn't matter much to her. As long as she had achieved what she wanted to do, she didn't care if other people did it first. What she really didn't like to lose at was a competition to see who would dare the most. And she wasn't about to start getting a taste for it now.
"What's on your mind, Rossi?" asked George, with a daring twinkle in her eye.
"I'll be willing to do whatever activity that is floating around in that brain of yours."
Perfect. Then it would be a fabulously entertaining afternoon to say the least. She listened to Ramzy until she stopped speaking.
She understood the girl's desire to get away from two controlling entities, to tell the truth, while Everly and Jacob were almost extremely liberal, they were still parents, and had a penchant for raising their children in a very boring doctrine of let's play 'follow the rules'.
"Well, if that's the only catch..." she looked at Matt with a complicit glance and dragged her attention back to the blonde girl. "Then we know where to take you. But first, let's go tell your dads where we are going."
