I had already applied for an ability this year, but I was thinking of applying for another talent or race next year. Is it possible to be a metamorph and a wolf at the same time? Just wondering

No, they're mutually exclusive

To add to that, you can only apply for a race within your first 30 days on site. After that there's only abilities.

Both Magdalena and Opeila are right. I'm afraid not. You need to decide if you want to be a metamorph or a wolf. Our system did not allow a player to have 2 race / talent in one character.

Since talent / race already have pre-made abilities, you need to stick to your first choice (I am assume in your case is the metamorph one?) but you have free choice of other abilities for each and every year (2, 4, and 6)

I looked at her trunk and Ebony is not listed as being a Metamorph or a Wolf. Her trunk has no abilities but I did see that she applied for Terrible Presence ability before. So I don't think she's a Metamorph or a Wolf, I think she was saying that she was thinking of applying to become those two. But since she registered back in 2021 she can't do either one now.

If you were a Metamorph or Wolf then you can only choose abilities for Year 2, 4 and 6. But since you are neither one, as they are not listed in your trunk and I didn't see that you applied for Metamorph or Wolf before in the thread, then no. If you didn't apply back in 2021 for either one of them, then you can't become either one now. But on the good side, since you applied for Terrible Presence already for your first year, you can apply for a new ability when July 1st comes! You can apply for an ability every single year come July 1st from now on!

No, they get an ability every year, but in years 3, 5 and 7 they are dictated by the race/talent. That means for third year I got prophecy as an ability, last year I picked binding mark.

Yes, Opeila is right.
But when I say 'abilities' I mean abilities that YOU choose.
So you only get to choose your abilities in Y2, 4 and 6.
You can't choose them for Y1, 3 and 7.
