A Series of Unfortunate Events
Justin was not quite sure what he was meant to be doing in the small hall. He was sure that there was a lot of work – probably important, possibly not – that he was supposed to be doing instead, but procrastination was so much more fun. Besides, it was such a nice day that it would be a shame to waste it all. That was a valid excuse, right? So instead, he had decided to waste his time in a different and hopefully less tiresome way.
The Small Hall itself was not a particularly interesting place. It was impressive, with its enormous fireplace and chandelier, and towering walls, covered with paintings. But it paled in comparison to the rest of the castle, especially the Great Hall just beyond. It did seem, nevertheless, to be quite popular as there were many other students also in the hall, for some mysterious reason. Far too many, in his opinion, for any sensible person. However, many people appeared to distinctly be lacking in this sense, as they looked to not mind everyone else at all.
He walked through the large room absently, looking at a painting of an old wizard on the far wall, who looked vaguely familiar.
@Vittoria Ricci sorry for taking so long
