I subscribe nearly one year ago but I didn't have the time to come on the site and develop my character. I am not register in the index and I didn't write any RPG (except 1 but there is no answer). I was wondering if I could restart a first year or if I have to continue in 2nd year? I would like to have the chance to develop my character from the beginning.

As far as I know, you can 'restart' as a first year if you want! Since you didn't register in index or write any RPs there won't be any continuity errors, so you'll just have to edit your character's birth date as appropriate so they would be the correct age for being in first year. Then you can register in index, so your character will begin to move up through the years

According to the message Lear posted about Graduation, if you feel that you didn't have enough time to develop a character in a particular year, you can elect to be "held back" for poor grades or other reason.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but that sounds like a good rp opportunity as well as a non-messy way to rectify having a character older than their classmates.

As your character is over 6 months old, you could also request a character deactivation with your Head of House. That would enable you to make a completely new character if you are interested in it.
