Physical Description:

Anahita is of Persian descent, with long dark brown wavy hair, brown eyes and a tan complexion. She's somewhat short and quite skinny. She is a late developer so will remain boyish in figure until her mid teens.

Mental Description:

She's girly and somewhat materialistic. She can be a bit squeamish and doesn't like getting dirty. She's very family oriented and a people pleaser. She's conscientious and a perfectionist. She loves to cook and bake and adores animals, except for anything poisonous or insects, which she is terrified of. She also likes to scrapbook and loves music and Bollywood movies.

Biography:

Ana is the oldest child of Reza and Bahar Ahadi, two purebloods who immigrated from Persia as young adults when Reza was offered a job at the Department of International Magical Co-operation as a liaison to the middle east. Bahar trained as a healer's assistant, but hasn't worked since the children were born. The two of them moved to Abingdon near Oxford. This is where Ana was born, followed three years later by her twin brothers Jahan and Roshan.

Her parents are quite conservative and very tied to their Persian roots, which is why most of her friends are from a similar background. She also has some non-Persian friends, but all are from magical families. She's had very little contact with muggles or muggleborns, though her parents are not particularly prejudiced against muggleborns per se.

She's had an upper middle class upbringing with no monetary worries, though she wasn't particularly spoiled either. As the oldest she was expected to be the mature one and keep her younger brothers out of trouble, which was no small feat. She didn't mind though. She loves all her family deeply.

Alongside her parents and siblings, she also lives with her grumpy old grandfather Vahid and her beloved grandma Sahar, who she spent a lot of time with learning to cook Persian specialties. The traditionally British food at Hogwarts will be a huge change for her.

First Instance of Magic:

She was six years old and the family cat had gotten stuck up a large tree. It was terrified and Ana was worried about it, wishing she could help. And then suddenly the tree bent down towards her, allowing the cat to jump safely into her arms. Thankfully, no muggles were present to witness the event.
