A Wand for Some Witches  Closed
31 August 2021

Katie was very excited. On the list she was missing the wand to buy. She had bought everything with lots of surprises every time she entered a store. She was going to use a real wand she couldn't believe her eyes. She thought wands were only for fairy tales she thought they didn't really exist !

¨ I'm probably in a dream it's not reality she said ¨ she didn't believe what was happening.

She was thinking about the magic tricks she will do when she has the wand she was asking herself a lot of questions :

¨ how will I have a wand ? How do I know which one to choose among thousands ? What will happen when I enter the store to buy it ? ¨

¨ Stop dreaming and find where this shop is¨ She said in a low voice.
She couldn't find the store anywhere; she was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't see the store when she passed near . After 1 minute she said
¨ Here it is ! I found the store ! ¨

Katie was shaking a lot she was very shy she couldn't open the door of the shop and enter. She did not have the courage to do this action. So she stood near the door and waited trembling and dreading the futur.

A Wand for Some Witches  Closed
Tuesday, August 31, 2021 - Early Morning

Mireia and her parents had arrived late last night to London, and grabbed a room at the Leaky Cauldron. It was a fun night, where she celebrated not only a late birthday night, but also the start of her wizarding journey.

Now it was the morning before the Hogwarts Express set off to the school. Her and her parents left the Leaky Cauldron much later in the morning than Mireia would have wanted. Her parents took their sweet time getting ready, while Mireia was ready nearly before dawn.

Once they finally reach the alley, Mireia knew exactly where she wanted to go first. "Ollivander's" she exclaimed to her father, and she smiled.

"Oh, do you want to get the best part done right away then? I'd thought you would want to save that for last," he chuckled.

"You know Mireia, she is too impatient for that." Her mother joined in with the laugh.

"Alright, alright, to Ollivander's we go then." Her father finally obliged.

She grinned and ran ahead of her parents, she didn't exactly know the way, but the alley really only went in one direction, and she thought she saw a wand sign just up there.

She was correct, too, as she came upon the unassuming shop just ahead. She glanced at the sign hanging above the front door, the name in script, but the sign old and needing a cleaning. The glass windows on the front were clear, but blocked by something - or perhaps many things - that seemed stored against the window.

She glanced back at her parents who were trialing slowly behind. Their hands interlocked as the smiled at the scene of Mireia. "Go on in dear, we will be right behind you!" Her mother called with a wave of her free hand. She grinned again and turned back around.

She reached her hand for the door, grabbing the handle and yanking it open. Just as she did, she noticed a young girl standing near the entrance. She had not noticed her before, maybe the girl had come up when Mireia was looking back at he parents. "Oh," she jumped in slight shock, "Sorry were you trying to go in? Go right ahead," she offered as she stood aside, her back to the inside of the open door and waved her hand to beckon the girl through. She would follow behind once the girl was through and in to the dark shop of Ollivander's.

Katie had been standing near the door of this old shop for at least 5 minutes, she did not distinguish the arrival of a girl who seemed even more excited than she was. When the girl Katie she said, "Sorry were you trying to go in? Go right ahead,"

¨ yes I want to enter but I'm too shy and I can't do it, thank you ¨
And she entered the shop shaking in fact she was shaking and worrying all the time, it was nothing new to her.
As soon as she entered the shop she was disgusted by the furniture in it and saw a man even older thane Mthuselah standing behind the counter. This shop is too old, she thought. She turned to the girl and told her.

She turned to the girl and said

¨I am Katie, Katie Newson and you what is your name ? Have you heard of this school of sorcery before? I never hear of this school before, I had a big surprise. That's why I was shaking a lot, until now and I can't believe what's happening it's even more beautiful than a dream you seem happy too.¨

Katie had spoken a lot, she was aware of it, she who usually did not open her mouth.
¨ I surely bother this young girl she thought and she blushed while moving away a little from her. I have to look a little more normal if I want to make friends in this new world and above all I don't have to talk so much. she thought

A Wand for Some Witches  Closed
As she entered Ollivander's for the first time, she felt the magical precense in the air around her. The walls were lined from floor to ceiling with boxes full of wands. It had the appearance of a very messy library, with rows of tall shelves, but with the powerful tool used towels magic gather dust in the shelves, rather than times of knowledge.

She was in awe at the sight, her eyes slowly adjusting the the dramatic shift in light from the bright outside morning to this dark cellar of a room.

The girl who was outside when Mireia entered, came in with her. The girl muttered some things and Mireia managed to catch them. Strange, if she was so shy you would think she would not admit it, Mireia thought, but dismissed the thought. That was not her purpose here today, to dwell on the fears of others. Today was the day she entered the wizarding world, officially, at least.

Mireia was brought out of her awe as the girl began to speak again, this time more clearly directed straight at Mireia herself. She gave her name, which Mireia would forget in a few moments, as she did with all names. And the girl continued with a spray of questions. She must be a muggle born, Mireia thought, but the way she was speaking of her excitement.

Mireia too, of course, was excited - but she knew magic and was not a stranger to it. For this girl, and for any muggle born more than likely, this was an experience that changed how they looked at the entire world, where for Mireia and other wizard borns, this was just an exciting part of growing up.

Just as Mireia was about to introduce herself to the girl, since she did ask for her name, Ollivander himself rounded a corner and presented himself to the girls.

"Ah, two young witches in my shop - ready for their first wands I see?" He chuckled as if he knew the girls well, and beckoned them up to the counter.

"Let's see, now what are your names?" He asked while he peered closely at them. Mireia walked to the counter, closer to Ollivander.

"I am Mireia Sangre-Tenebri, I'm wizard born, my parents are just outside." She stated and waved her hand towards the door just as her parents caught up and entered the little shop themselves. They stayed near the back, not wanting to rain on Mireia's experience, but the pride was clear on their faces.

Ollivander smiled and Mireia, and nodded to her parents in the back as recognition. "Yes, I remember your father - just as I remember all my young wizards. But your mother must have gotten her wand from someone else, hmm?" He wondered aloud and playfully shook a finger at her mother who chuckled lightly behind her.

"And what about you, little one?" He asked, directing this question specifically to Katie Newsom.
