A Piano and a song

Here!Walking into the dining hall, Bailey was excited. She had smelled the roasted potatoes and steak from her last class and had immediately rushed to dinner as soon as the bell had rung. Filling her plate, Bailey chowed down. Finishing her main course, Bailey took a slice of rich chocolate cake and dug in.
Finishing up dinner and dessert, Bailey started walking back to her dorm. She was alone, but was sure she was going to run into someone she knew. Bailey had friends all over the places, and from several years.
Walking up the stairs, Bailey saw the Rehearsal Room. Deciding to go in and practice her piano a little, Bailey looked around. No one was there
good Bailey thought. She was really self conscious about her playing and hated performing.
Walking over to the beautiful grand piano, Bailey pulled out the bench and sat down.
Setting her bag next to the bench, Bailey opened the lid- it didn’t even squeak- the hinges were recently oiled.
Taking a deep breath in, Bailey let it out as she began her warm up. Up and down, her long fingers caressed the keys.
Once she finished her warm up, Bailey took another breath in and let it out as she started playing Dynamite by BTS.
While she was playing, unbeknownst to Bailey, someone had heard her and had walked in.
Bailey had accidentally left the door open, and a girl had slipped in.Word count: 250 ish

After Emily was all done with her dinner, she left the Great Hall and decided to walk to Gryffindor Tower and see if she got any owl's from her cousins. The young Gryffindor continued walking towards Gryffindor Tower but then she stopped. She heard the sound of a piano playing. Curiosity getting her best, Emily walked toward the music room where the sound was coming.
"I guess I'll see if I got any owls later." Emily thought while walking up to the door.
She stopped and was about to knock when she saw that the door was already open, so she walked in and saw a girl playing the piano. Emily knew the song the girl was playing. Emily has also seen the girl around but she doesn't know the girl's name yet.
"OMG! She's playing Dynamite by BTS on the piano! Does she like BTS too?" Emily fangirled in her mind. She was a massive fan of BTS.
Emily knowing the song very well, started to hum to the tune. Emily was a perfect singer. She hasn't written any songs tho. Her cousins tell her she should, but she doesn't. She continued to hum. She closed her eyes while she hummed. She was singing in her mind while she was humming. She hope she didn't startle the girl when she started to hum. She also hoped that she could be friends with the girl that was playing the piano.

@Emily FlowerAs she was playing, Bailey heard the door creak a little. Not wanting to turn around and mess up, Bailey kept playing and Listened- do I hear someone? she wondered.
Then someone began hum- it was a more feminine hum, so Bailey figured it was a girl. Finishing the song, Bailey lifted her fingers off of the keys and stood up.
Stepping out from behind the bench, Bailey turned around to see a girl, probably a first year, standing there.
The girl had long, strawberry blond hair that was gorgeous, yellow eyes, peach colored skin and she was tall, thin and flexible looking. She was super pretty and all Bailey could think was she would make a great dancer or model. I wonder… her humming was immaculate- can she sing?
Deciding to speak up, Bailey smiled at the girl and said “Um… hello. Sorry I didn’t hear you come in or I would have stopped and acknowledged that you were there. Anyways, my name is Bailey. Bailey Glade. I’m a second year Ravenclaw- what year and house are you in?”
Waiting for the girl to respond, Bailey walked forwards and stuck her hand out for a hand shake.Word count: 203 ish

Once Emily heard the piano stopped, she stopped humming and she stopped singing in her mind. She then saw the girl walk up to her. She smiled at her and took her hand. She then said,
"Hi! I'm Emily. Emily Flower. I'm a first year Gryffindor. Its fine, I just heard the sound of a piano and I came in. You were playing Dynamite by BTS, right?"
Emily didnt want to go on otherwise she'd start fangirling again. And she didn't want to be annoying and lose the chance of getting a new friend besides her cousins.
She deiced to tell her cousins about this when she goes back to her dorm if she got an owl from them tho. The young girl continued the sing in her mind. But she wasn't singing dynamite she was singing her favorite song by BTS called Boy In Luv. It was in Korean and she didn't know what they were saying, but she just liked the song.
While she was singing in her mind, she waited for Bailey to reply. Since she was singing in her mind she could still hear. She then stopped the hand shake and took her hand back. She didn't know what else to say so she kept quite until Bailey spoke again

@Emily FlowerAs the girl introduced herself as Emily Flower, Bailey smiled and said “That’s a really pretty name!”
a first year- just as I guessed. And Griffindor… hu - I guess that makes sense? Bailey thought.
Then Emily asked if she had been playing Dynamite by BTS - she had been. Smiling, Bailey nodded and said “Yep! I don’t listen to a lot of KPop but I love that song. Do you know a lot of their music?”
Curious, Bailey looked more at the girl. She seemed like a girl who was careful about what she said, how she acted, particularly around strangers. Bailey was the same way most of the time, but she could blabber on.
Trying not to be rude, Bailey took a step back and then went to grab her bag. Not wanting to rush Emily, she just picked it up and pulled her water bottle out of it. Taking a drink, she swallowed and asked “Was I really playing that loud that you could hear me in the corridor or did I leave the door open? I was certain I had shut it but I could have blown open. The doors here… have a mind of their own.”

Emily smiled at the compliment that Bailey gave her. She then heard Bailey continue. She was happy when she heard that she was playing Dynamite. She then laughed slightly at Bailey's question about her playing two loud. Once Bailey stopped talking, Emily decided to talk.
"Thanks for the compliment! Your names nice too! Ya, I know a lot of their songs. I like their Korean songs, but I don't speak Korean and I sometimes know what their saying. No, you weren't that loud. The door was open. I was about to knock on the door but I realized the door was already open."
Emily stopped herself from saying anything else about BTS, because she's a really big fan of theirs. Her cousins knew and her siblings and her mother. But her uncle, aunt, anf father all don't know.
Emily was certainly cautious around new people because she wanted human friends. Or at least part human friends. Because her only friends right now are her vampire friends that go to Cross Academy.
Emily waited again for Bailey to speak. Emily was now daydreaming about her cousin Senri Shiki whom she was secretly dating. She didn't want anyone else to know about this. But, she'll probably tell Bailey if she trusts her enough to tell her.

@Emily FlowerWhen Emily smiled at her complement, Bailey smiled back. Her grin widened when Emily said that her name was pretty too.
Then Emily continued, saying that she didn’t know Korean but she liked their songs. And she reassured Bailey that she was not playing too loud, and Bailey shrank an inch, relieved.
Curious, Bailey asked “I know… how to count to ten in Korean. I was researching how to speak and that is how I found BTS. I really wish I knew more- and you seem to know more than I do. What are your favorite songs? And do you know how many people actually sing? I know there are a few… but I can never tell how many.”
Noticing that Emily was being a but cautious, Bailey smiled at her and tried to make her feel more comfortable. Bailey had a way of making people feel more calm when they were around her- it was special. OOC note: Bailey has the ability calming presence, if you want to acknowledge that, it is your choice.
People had a way of… being attracted to Bailey. Not in a romantic sense, but in a physical way. They found her, and she was their bright spot. Always happy and cheerful, they seemed to relax when they were around her. This also meant that people felt comfortable to tell her stuff they don’t tell others.word Count: 215 ish

Emily noticed that Bailey was smiling back at her. The young Gryffindor was certain that her and Bailey would be good friend, hopefully. Emily heard Bailey continue to speak, so she listened carefully. When Emily heard that Bailey knew how to count to 10 in Korean, she was shocked. After Bailey was all done speaking, Emily thought about what she should say next. After a few minutes of thinking Emily said,
"Wow! I only know some words because of BTS. Four out of the seven boys sing, but the other three boys also sing. My favorite song is Boy In Luv, Black Swan, Heartbeat, Bullet Proof, and Louder than Bombs. I like their other sings too, but I haven't listened to all of them yet. I also know their three English songs, Dynamite, Butter, and Permission to Dance. Their songs are really good!"
After a while she stopped talking because she didnt want to start fangirling again. Plus, she wanted to be friends with Bailey. She didn't want to start fangirling yet. @Emily FlowerTalking with Emily, Bailey felt like she had found herself a friend. Though she did fee this with most people, Bailey felt a closer connection with Emily. As Emily responded, Bailey listened- not just to be respectful but to also hear what the younger girl had to say.
When Emily heard Bailey say that she could count to ten in Korean, she seemed shocked. Bailey felt like she had to explain, so once Emily had responded Bailey spoke up saying,
“That’s really cool. I think I have heard their songs Butter, Permission to dance, and of course Dynamite. My piano teacher actually introduced me to them by accounting me to play Dynamite.
And the reason I know how to count to ten in Korean is because I train in Korean Taekwondo, and I was taught there. At my dojo, I mean.”
Emily seemed to be holding herself back, either because she was self conscious or because she did not want Bailey to know more than she let on. Deciding to ask, Bailey said “You seem to be holding back. Do you know more? Because if you do I would love to hear. I really wish I knew more but the books in the Hogwarts library don’t include anything about them and … I didn’t think to ask my mum send anything.”Word count: 220 ish

Emily heard Bailey speak again, so she listened. Emily wondered if Bailey only knew their three completely English songs. Emily really wanted to ask, but she didnt want to seem rude. After Bailey finished talking Emily decided to reply saying,
"You do Taekwondo? Thats cool! My cousins thought me how to defend myself. I don't know a lot of Korean of Japanese, but I know a little bit of Spanish. If you want I can recommend some of their songs that are in Korean, if you'd like."
