Kari grew up in a decent sized household. He grew up with three brothers and two sisters. He was the oldest of the boys and same age as his twin sister. He had a good relationship with his siblings. He helped his younger brothers when they got hurt. He and his twin sister were almost inseparable. However his sister went to a different school instead. This broke his heart but he couldn't do anything about it. His oldest sister would often tease him over little things such as having a crush on someone. Kari's mom worked at a local donation center that sold clothes and furniture to people in need of it. His mother loved to help the community and picked up and threw away whatever trash she found lying around on the ground.

Kari's dad worked at a school as a physical education teacher. Due to the being family Kari was not allowed to have his father as a teacher. This is because of the school thinking Kari's dad would let him slack off just because he is his son.

Kari grew up in a strict household. No one was allowed out of the house after eleven o'clock. The kitchen was closed by ten-thirty which meant no more food or water until morning. No one was allowed out of their rooms past nine forty-five. There were also strict personal rules. Girls and boys have separate bathrooms. Girls and boys have separate bedrooms. No dating of the same gender.

Kari's parents didn't support homosexuality and didn't want their children getting involved in it either. However Kari disobeyed this rule when he was 10. He just didn't tell his parents about it until later once he was sure.

Kari usually say at the back of his class. Alone. Today they had a new transfer student. The new boy sat down across from Kari and smiled at his. Kari looked up and saw the boy. He was very pretty. A bright blush spread across Kari's cheeks and he quickly hid his face. What was this feeling? Why did he get butterflies from just one glance at this boy?

Kari talked to his older sister about it. His sister only told him to keep it to himself so he wouldn't get into any trouble. Kari nodded and walked out of his room.

A few weeks later Kari couldn't hold the secret anymore. He and the boy had started dating a week after they first met. Apparently the boy felt love at first sight as well as Kari did. Kari stood from the table suddenly causing his chair to screech across the floor and fall over.

He quickly shouted out that he had been seeing a boy. His parents looked at him in shock while the other sibling just stared at him in awe. Soon the look on his mom's face turned from shock to anger. She sent Kari to his room and told him not to come out except to go to school. Soon enough Kari's parents had packed his things and shipped him off to his aunt's house. He was fine with it since he and his aunt had a very good relationship. It was a bonus because his aunt supported him being homosexual. Kari spent the rest of his life there until his letter from Hogwarts came in the mail.

First Instance Of Magic

One time, at the age of nine, Kari was playing catch with his sister one evening when he got distracted. He saw a ladybug fly in front of his face and he followed it into the street. Kari had no idea what was happening until he heard a honk and looked up. He was terrified and he froze. He couldn't move and inch. One moment there is a car speeding towards him and the next minute it has crashed into a invisible barrier. Kari's brother and aunt looked at him with shocked and excited expressions. Shocked that he had used magic to protect himself from the car but excited because Kari had just used magic for the first time.
