Prison Break
@Caradoc Browne
Finley VanCleaf, an inpatient at St. Mungos Hospital under the care of a doctor Jacoby Black. He was admitted involuntarily as a inpatient by his brother August VanCleaf. A former nurse at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, a number of students had been reportedly injured during his tenure and his ability to care for the students both then and now has been put into question. However his competence as a medical provider was not the reason for his admission, if anything that was merely a reason for his dismissal from his previous role. However, he was admitted to St. Mungos to manage a profound psychosis and when he was fit to stand trial according to his provider then he would stand before the Wizengamot on charges of conspiracy.
Caradoc Browne would come upon VanCleaf, under a different name. Vince Feannalley, an anagram of his given name, isolated for "behavioral disturbances" in ward 7C. Not a place they allow casual visitation be would quickly learn, there was security and nursing staff, a glorified prison that was allowed to give sedatives to the inmates essentially with less human rights attached to the activities of ones day.
Getting to Finley to be certain he was indeed who he was would have been Browne's first challenge. He was the Head of Hufflepuff, not some mafioso or ne'er do well that was equipped for essentially a prison-break. Perhaps he had the charisma and charm to talk his way in, but getting out with be another matter entirely.
He would ultimately find a rather lean and tired appearing Fin in a padded room, he was indeed delusional. He saw monsters in the walls and fiends where there were none. His grasp on reality had been severed a long time ago, he was nothing like the man that Browne had known and if it was not for the familiar physical features of thee man he would have thought his journey and efforts were in vain.
Helping a madman escape when he would likely get distracted down the very hall in front of him would have been Caradoc's second challenge. A curious one to say the least - how did he get him out? Well, distractions were key truly. Let another mad man out of their box and let the orderlies take him back to his rubber room while he absconded with his target. Papers would be astounded days later by the audacious escape and be quick to ponder the connection between the two men and find none besides the "prison" they shared. They will find no connection because there was none, none besides the luck of being adjacent to Fin.
Depending on how Caradoc got Finley out, perhaps he would learn something more about the man who was far too mad to share what he was. Babbling and broken, he could walk but it was a staggering run and he was easily distracted. The flicker of life and awareness was faint behind nearly lifeless eyes. Yet escaping was only part of the problem, then came the issue of transporting a crazy person from St. Mungos and out of London to a 'safe' space where he would not be found. Again, crazy people were... crazy. There was no politically correct way of putting it -- the man was absolutely cracker jacks.
Then he would need to hide the man and see what he could possibly glean from him.

There is something about ambition, how it not only propels you but also defines you.

Prison Break

"Inspector B.S. Weatherwax, yes. No, I don't see why I would spell out my first name, young man. Yes, you can take that up with my superiors. I'm on a tight schedule here, I don't think I have to explain to you whom I work for, considering I'm here for this particular man, hmm?"
Caradoc's fake initials were a credit to what was sprouting from his mouth. A mouth, purposefully hidden behind the thickest dark brown moustache the head honcho of Hufflepuff managed to conjure on his lip. The golden head was still there, though his hair was longer now and somewhat sculpted in a large wave stuck to starboard on a sweaty forehead. His attire was utterly dull compared to what the original man was seen with in by broad daylight. A mud-grey suit with a woollen brown tie that screamed it was once knitted by the wife, in a likely attempt to cover up a forgotten birthday (accompanied by a card, of course).
B.S. left his hand to roam his inside pocket, which turned out to be magically extended. After some overdue presenting of what could only be described as a crumpled paper snowball. As soon as the young man behind the desk flattened the piece of paper on his desk for inspection, both pair of eyes shared a moment of confusion as they read the names on what seemed to be a list. "Aha! I must say, I'm a bit of a muppet, aren't I? Now, where were my other papers..." B.S. even giggled in Victorian, the accent of choice for this special occasion. Caradoc really should have been an actor, though no one doubted it would have somehow been dull to him. How could he annoy anyone when being loud and dramatic was his job?
The short moment of exposure and a conveniently placed finger at the right name would have shown the young man the briefest of glimpses of why the stranger in front of him was here. Confusion and time constraint were motivational triggers to provide enough evidence at 'this moment' and "just get the bloody job over and done with". Giving a mere nod filled to the brim with a professional glare, the man formerly known as Caradoc would set forth on his mission.
"Ehem. Excuse me!" The boy's voice rang through the hallway as the Hufflepuff got seven steps through. Doc would halt by the first corner and shut his eyes in dread. He had bet himself to hold out longer than this. It felt like it was going so well! Perhaps he ought to make a run for it already? That was supposed to be his plan C. Or was it B?"He's in 7C, by the way… thought you should know… given your whole… job, ugh whatever!". Long live the young upstarts waiting for an 'overdue' raise to come with the mail rather than investing in a good dose of devotion to a job well done. He knew them all too well, he had been one of them over a decade ago.
Finding his way around the building was a piece of cake for the former healer. He zigzagged past a herd of interns and managed to hide in a small changing room as a pair of former colleagues passed him by. Grabbing one of two lime green robes from the coat rack, he eventually put on his own glasses he dreaded so much. The tie got rolled up and tucked in his pocket, and he made sure his glasses were firmly set on the tip of his nose. "Tick tock, it's Doc o'clock"
"A few distracting badgers wouldn't hurt now." Doc caught himself whispering. It was true, the minds of children did wonderful things when they set out to cause a little mischief. Perhaps he ought to send for a couple of students, the likes of Warren or Healy. They sure would know how to put on a show. Caradoc vaguely recalled at least one of them doing so a few years back in this building. He turned another corner and slowed his pace, suddenly heavily invested in his watch. As he took a step aside in the hallway and hugged the wall, he left his eyes to count three individuals by the entrance.
"Of course there would be guards. They wouldn't leave you alone now. Not after they effortlessly got their hands on you. We've been fools." Doc mused silently to himself. Now it was up to them to protect their camp in this little game of capture the flag. But no one expected a badger to play a wolf's game. And what do badgers do best? "We burrow." Doctor B.S. Weatherwax would grin from under his hairy curtain.
A few moments later…
Doc had heavily miscalculated in what shape his joints and muscles were. As he crawled on his hands and knees through a narrow passageway, he had dug himself magically. There really was no rush behind it all, except, perhaps, for the only timer that mattered: His heart. Pumping like crazy and sending all sorts of profanities through his brain, his blood was boiling from adventure. Adventure he had not been used to any more, it seemed. After snapping his fingers one more time, the badger halted at the end of the tunnel and looked upwards. Where he might have considered underfloor heating at his parents' house, he knew to be nothing but a set of perfectly square-cut marble tiles in his way upwards.
Finlay and his roommate would find their little game of hide-and-seek with the demons and devils in the walls to be interrupted by a soft scraping sound. As their ears tuned in to the eery noise coming from below, it suddenly stopped. With the room now dead-silent, they heard a muffled voice casting a spell before the scraping sound came back again. In the matter of a minute, the pair of looneys witnessed one of the large tiles in the middle of the room getting cut out of the pattern and drop downwards in a hole. "Ow!" A voice called out in a hushed tone, with a series of curses and insults not far behind. "Should have considered gravity…"
"I don't s'ppose any of you two could give me a hand, would you?" A hushed voice asked as the head of Caradoc Browne with a moustache popped out in front of Finlay and his neighbour.
