Jarael was let out of class and making her way out to the corridor. Students all over the place were being let out of the last classes of the day. Jarael was being pushed a bit with all the kids heading in every direction. Jarael pushed her way through the best she could. She went into her blue satchel and took out her schedule she made on which homework she needed for every class. She was very organized like that.

She made her way to a wall to lean back on it to allow the students to go by while she looked at her itinerary. She was there for quite a while ignoring passersby and the sound of laughter and chatter amongst the students. She noticed it was getting quieter although there were still students in the corridor. She felt it was a good time to leave the area. Where too who knew?

She was still looking at her schedule when she heard a crackling voice. She looked up to see a male wizard in red robes talking to her. “Eh there deary you think you're so smart? “ Another portrait who happened to also be a male wizard was in blue robes chimed in “Leave the firstie alone. She is just finding her way.”

Jarael smiled at them “Greetings photo wizards. Yes I’m finding my way around. It can be confusing, but I am learning a lot as I'm exploring.” she said gleefully. The male wizard in the red robes saw another student go by. “Hey you Gryffindor kid. What say you? Are you lost too?”

Jarael before looking at who the portrait was talking to replied “I’m not lost!” she said it in a rather defensive way. She turned to the boy to hear what he had to say to the wizards in the picture frames. @Taizu Miyashiro

Taizu was exploring the school, noting the strange things that popped up. Doors that led to a blank wall, bits of wall that giggled when you walked past, and suits of armor that made jokes. Taizu was fascinated by each of the little magical things that happened at this wonderful school, especially all of the paintings.

Each and every one of the paintings had an almost living person inside of them with a story and a life, and it could even interact with the other paintings around it. In fact, they were the only people he could talk to aside from his four friends without a quaver in his voice. So he would enjoy talking to all forms of painting people, as he had begun to call them to himself.

Taizu of course was not paying attention to the fact that he wasn't alone in the hallway, he was too busy looking at all of the pictures, nearly jumping out of his skin when one asked, "Hey you Gryffindor kid. What say you? Are you lost too?"

Taizu looked directly at the painting and said, "No, I was just exploring. There's so many-"

He froze as he realized that someone else had spoken, and it had not come from the paintings. Slowly turning around, he saw a girl that was about his age, though her house colors showed that she was in Ravenclaw. The painting said, "Great! you can show the lost girl around to where she needs to go!" Taizu looked over at the girl with a look of unease clear on his childish face. It was obvious that he wasn't used to talking to actual people.

"Oh Gods, I set the water on fire again."

Jarael shook her head at the painting then said “Oh wait you are the one lost cause you are stuck in the painting. Maybe I can help you out. I know you can go through other paintings. Maybe you got another picture somewhere else then you can get out of the castle and not be so doddery here at the school.” she grinned at the wizards before looking at the boy. She gave him a squint of her eyes before grinning at him.

“They get so bossy like they own the place.” She lifted her finger and waved it at both wizard paintings. “Tsk..tsk..tsk Don’t be so rude. If only you were alive you could change the rules. Your time has passed but you can watch life continue. Don’t be so crabby because others who are full of life ignore you. “ she grinned

“They think they are so smart.” she said to the boy then cocked her head when both wizards were in shock at what she said and began to curse her out. “How dare you say we are crabby.” said the wizard in red.

“Rude…us rude?..I say you look here child. We may be here in the painting that doesn’t mean you can just dictate how we are and what we should be. We lived a long eventful life. We have done things you would never know how.” the wizard in blue in disbelief that a student just offended them. @Taizu Miyashiro
