Luna is a fair-skinned 5foot 8 skinny girl with a lot of freckles. She is very nerdy and loves to learn about Magical creatures and plants within the wizarding world. She has long brown hair currently but she prefers to have it dyed ice blue. Luna likes her brown hair but she prefers to look unique. Luna Lives in London with her mother Tina and father Rupert Queenie. She also lives with her parent's two owls, Rupert and Rosie. Other than the "owl siblings" Luna is an only child but that is ok. The reason being is because her best friend and next-door neighbor Isadora Parks are like the sister she's ever wanted even though she liked being an only child. Luna is timid at first but once she feels comfortable she will not shut up and feel safe to be herself. Luna can be a complete space cadet but she knows Her mother and father met at Hogwarts and were both Hufflepuff just like Luna's idol Newt Scamander so she was hoping to follow in their footsteps. Luna has always looked up to newt for as long as she could remember. She particularly liked Mooncalves, Nifflers, and Hippogriffs. She is also interested in thestrals and hopes one day to meet all four. With her best friend in toe, Luna is beyond excited to start this new chapter in her life.

It all happened because she was scared to be alone. Luna and Isadora have always had each other ever since they were babies so when luna found out her best friend had gotten her acceptance letter she had mixed emotions. She knew from what her parents told her that the use of accidental magic causes said users name to be written in the special book, which could lead to getting an acceptance letter to Hogwarts. She was happy for her best friend but there was a small part of her who felt utter sorrow. She felt so betrayed and sad in a way that she somehow admitted a bright blue light that emanated from her chest and she couldn't see for a good minute or so.

Life at Hogwarts so far

Gryffindor echoed the voice of the sorting hat in Luna's mind as she headed up to the dorm with the other freshman. Im sorry you didn't get your first choice echoed Isadora's response to me after the sorting happened. Its not that she was upset she got sorted into Gryffindor she isn't. she already made a friend named Allison and she seems cool. But she was hoping to be a puff like her parents and her hero Newt Scamander. As Luna followed the other Griffs into the common room she couldn't help but wonder what Isadora was currently doing in the Ravenclaw girls dorm room. This is the first time luna and Isadora were not around each other all the time and Luna was starting to feel homesick. She was missing her parents, Rupert her parents barn owl and how he seemed to understand Her and would comfort her when she was sad. Just then she herd Rupert coming. seconds later he landed on her shoulder with a letter from her parents. Thanks bud she said giving him a gentle hug before he flew home. she quickly found an open seat by the fireplace and opened the letter from her parents

Dear Luna,

We heard that you got into Gryffindor CONGRADULATIONS! we are beyond proud of you. You may not be a puff but you are a puff at heart and no hat or wizard who truly knows you can deny that. We packed some things for your section of the dorm to make you feel more at home like Rupert your stuffed niffler etc.
