Hogwarts offered so many new things- things Reena didn't even know existed. How come her parents kept all of this from her? And what annoyed her the most was that her parents made her get braces instead of magically fixing her teeth. There was probably a spell for that! This whole time, Reena basically had her own fairy- mother. Her mother could of helped the family with her magic but noooo, her mother always preferred to work for things. At least the muggles were one step ahead- right? All these magical things are like strange versions of muggle technology if you really think about it. Moving pictures? Seriously? Just call them movies! Not that hard, wizards. Moving stairs? Weren't those just escalators? Sure, these stairs moved in a different way but come on. This whole place was like a strange version of reality- a lucid dream. Even if it wasn't a dream, she could enjoy like it was one. In dreams you do things you aren't brave enough to do in real life. Mainly because real life was no where near as fun as dreams. But Reena was living in a dream-like world! She had to make the most of every second.

How did everything work? Why? She marched around the school, stopping by pictures to chat with the people. "What's your name?" She would start with, taking notes. She felt like a news reporter! A detective on a mission! She would ask further questions like how long they've been there, and if it ever gets boring. Did the pictures ever move places or did they just hang there? (pun intended) After she annoyed the pictures in every way possible, she would move on. "Bunch of grumpy people, if you ask me. I was just curious!" She shrugged it off, wishing she had her music. Why couldn't muggle technology work here? Her phone- her music- all back at home.

She began to hum a song. It was the same song- over and over. She hopped on her feet, spinning around. She began to sing the lyrics under her breath, twirling around. Getting near the stairs- her mind was elsewhere. She was twirling fast. Around and around. She began to realize that she was no longer in control of her spinning and that she was losing balance. Her head began to hurt and she felt the floor disappear from under her feet. But it didn't. She had reached the stairs. She tried to grab onto the railing but tripped on her robe. She fell forward, hitting her elbow. She began to tumble- down the stairs. "ACK!" She yelled, followed by some colorful spanish words. She landed at the end of the stairs, and rolled onto her back. "Well that happened." She then noticed a boy. She was right at his feet. She pulled herself to her feet, awkwardly holding her wrist. Was it broken?

It was bruised, and at an awkward angle. It was already slightly swollen.

... nah.

"Careful. There are stairs right there."
