Guardian Angel
open to @angelfyre mccubbin if you'd like to join? otherwise, I'll keep this solo
Dear Box Maker,
It is now March 23rd, over three months after Epiphany, and I have just realised that I never said thank you. What you did for me was incredibly sweet, and your message helped me to seek out some closure I didn't know I needed. I thought you might like to know that I am using your thoughtful gift to store letters which I will never send - diary entries of a sort.
I'm going to prop this letter up on my bedside table. I hope you see it and know it's for you. If not, I suppose you'll never read this. I don't have any other way of contacting you, but that's okay. Somehow, the mystery of it makes it even nicer: you weren't trying to get recognition. I wonder, do you see yourself as just an empathic person, or as a guardian angel?
Yours,
Lucia Fox
P.S. I'm going to assume you know my name, since you know which bed is mine and presumably saw me during the Epiphany errand.

Guardian Angel
For a day or so, AngelFyre had noticed a letter sitting up on the table by Lucia's bed. AngelFyre was a very observant girl, but she was not a nosey one. This letter in particular, however, had captured her attention because of the addressee's name scripted across the front. It was addressed to 'Box Maker'.
Upon seeing the addressee, AngelFyre could not help but wonder if Lucia was, in actuality, reaching out to her? She had long put it out of her mind, but during Epiphany, AngelFyre had painted a faux malachite green box. That was a particularly hard night, not for AngelFyre personally, but it was hard because Lucia was at a table not too far from where AngelFyre had been sitting, and wave after wave of a deep, dark sadness was emanating from her. It broke AngelFyre's heart for the girl, and she remembered thinking in those moments that she wished there was something she could for her. Lucia was surrounded by people, but had clearly retreated to someplace deep inside of herself.
All AngelFyre could think to do was to leave the faux malachite box on her pillow with a note of encouragement of some sort. She remembered thinking it was lucky that Lucia was in her dorm so her plan could be implemented. She had also done it anonymously so there would be no risk of feelings of obligation or possible embarrassment further pressuring Lucia's hurting heart. Besides, who does not like receiving a gift?
With all of that in mind, AngelFyre took the opportunity to determine if the letter was indeed for her. She was on her way to meet Simon down in the Common Room for a surprise, but the Bungalow was empty as luck would have it. Now was her shot. Heading towards the door, AngelFyre quickly side-stepped to Lucia's bedside table and grabbed the letter, quickly scanning it. It was, in fact, for her, and AngelFyre felt her heart swell reading the words.
It would seem the gift had done something to lighten her heart and was being used for a very special purpose. How lovely to know that. AngelFyre smiled, deeply moved. She borrowed the quill sitting next to the letter and scripted the following:

AngelFyre has left the threadDear Lucia,
I am more pleased than you will ever know to learn that the box and the note meant something to you. My heart is overflowing right now, so thank you for that. I hope you use it in good health for as long as you deem necessary.
