Unknown Relative

Anemone was lying down on her bed in her dorm when she heard a noise at the window. She ignored it for a moment but it started to get persistent. She sighed, thinking that maybe someone's owl got locked out again when she looked up and saw that she was alone in her room. Usually owls went straight to whoever the letter it was for, not where their things stayed.
Probably for someone else anyway. But she wasn't sure. Anemone frowned and got up, adjusting her sleeping gown as she stepped up to the window. There was a large snow white owl with black and brown flecks across it's feathers. It watched her with sharp eyes as it stood on the outside ledge, seeming curious yet cautious about her. Anemone looked around one more time before raising the sill.
The owl hooted softly, ruffling it's feathers before dropping the letter in front of her. Instead of immediately flying away it cocked it's head to the side and inquired her. Anemone reached out to pet it but and lifted it's wings and with a hoot it flew away in less than a heartbeat. Wow, what a fast bird.
Anemone shut the window and went to back down. The letter was in a modern envelope but felt like it had old or crumbled paper inside. On the front it said, in very beautiful calligraphy, her name with the address to Hogwarts and words in seemingly Latin.
"Procul ex oculis, procul ex mente...hm." She made a mental note to look up the meaning in the library one day and opened the letter.
Inside was a wrinkled letter, as if someone had balled it up and uncrumbled, and a small red-beaded bracelet. It has different shapes and letters on each of the eleven beads. Some beads seemed to be made of crystals. The ones that were regular beads had pieces of flower petals in them. Anemone studied it a little longer before reading the letter.
She stared out the window, wondering who the sender was. Lens...

Anemone was puzzled. "Aprindeți focul. Tu ești focul...kindle the fire, you are the fire? Nethodys must be the owl..." She didn't really like cryptic messages but she was interested because it was addressed to her and she didn't know how anyone in her family would know to send her an owl, much less that they could. It was all deeply intriguing.Scoria,
Where have you been? You're awake now?!
Nethodys found you. Stay strong, fetita.
Aprindeti focul. Tu esti focul.
Someday, Lens
