Ferret buddies? Farron Horne Closed

Guess what, Poppy?" She asked excitedly as she picked her pet up. She looked into the eyes of her mischievous little buddy as she held her Lion-King style. After a few seconds, she spun on her heel with her ferret still in her hand. She made her way to her bed as she spoke. "So you know that knew Astronomy professor?" She asked casually as if talking to a ferret was an everyday occurrence.(it was) Poppy was very good at keeping secrets and the BEST gossip listener. Even if she earned weird glances from those around her, she didn't care or she didn't notice. You never knew with Juniper. The thing is, Ravenclaw was full of strange girls. So seeing someone walking around chatting to a pet as if they could understand was not strange at all to any of them. "Professor Horne, I think it was." She continued, setting poppy down on her bed as she opened her dresser. She never matched her socks, and spent about 3 minutes trying to find pairs. "She seems really nice! Like, super nice. I know professor Read was good, but Professor Horne is really friendly and- guess what!" The topic of the conversation, the whole point she was doing this! "She has a ferret!!!"

Juniper pulled socks out and slid them on her feet, letting Poppy digest this news. "Wouldn't it be fun if BOTH of us got to meet her? I'll bring her those treats I was telling you about." Poppy stuck her head up from the blanket, hearing the word treat. Seeing that Juni had none, she got bored and began to roll around on the blanket. Without warning, Juni scooped her ferret up and made her way out of the room. Before she left she grabbed the little baggy of ferret treats as well as the box of cookies she was talking about. Chocolate chunk cookies, freshly baked from her mam's recipe.

She headed to the Astronomy Tower, chatting to Poppy the whole time. Once she reached the office of Professor Horne, she stopped and knocked politely, and walked in. "Hi professor! " She said cheerfully, shifting herself so her ferret could sit on her shoulder. "I'm Juniper, and these are cookies." She didn't know if she was supposed to introduce herself or give the treat first, so she did both. "Chocolate chunk, to be exact. They're for you." In case that wasn't obvious enough. She pointed to her ferret, then scooped Poppy up. "This is Poppy. I noticed that you have a ferret and since I have a ferret I wanted to introduce mine to yours!" Maybe this was all a plan to meet the professor.
