The wizarding world is a wonderful place for some, but many species are underrepresented and poorly treated. House elfs are one of these species. Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare aims to help these mistreated beings and return to them the dignity they deserve. These like the information advents will be organized in different places the peaceful protests will serve as a way to spread information about house elfs to everyone.

Thank you for asking I completely forgot to add that to the club's information.
I was thinking, house elf interviews and advents to spread information to others. I think peaceful protests is an excellent idea and will making that part of the new "What S.P.E.W Does" section.

Any previous interactions with house elfs: I talked to one just the other night! I didn't want to go back into the common room, so I just curled up in a little alcove to think for a while.
He ran away from me, though. All I did was say 'oh, hello, sir!' Maybe he didn't see me and I think I scared him away.
Um. I do have a question, though. Why are we called 'spew'? Isn't that like, boaking? You know, being sick?
