Feather Brain Solo Finished

Her bright blue eyes carefully scanned the cover of every single book, trying to find the perfect book for her homework. Well, not her homework, according to the piece of paper it belonged to Elsian Cox. Samantha assumed that was the name of stupid spider boy and she had accidentally gotten ahold of his assignment and notes. She remembered her last meeting with wand thief like it was yesterday, probably because, spoiler alert, it had been yesterday. The chaos the stupid boy had created when he was too blind to see her had caused so many problems. If only Elsian had paid attention, her wand and notebook wouldn't be missing.

After the boy had left her in the corridors the day before, she had gathered the last of her things and started walking to her dorm with the huge pile of books. It had been exhausting to get up the stairs to the Ravenclaw common room with a pile of heavy books and when she finally arrived in her dorm she quickly threw the books on her bed. Happy to be freed of the weight, she had started working on her homework, which she needed to finish according to her extremely detailed plan. After she had completed all the assignments, she ate dinner in the great hall with some of her friends, still not knowing about her missing wand and notebook.

During dinner, she told all of her friends about a stupid boy who ran into her when she was just minding her own business but left out anything about the first time she met the boy. Wanting to write in her little blue notebook, which Samantha refused to call a dairy even though it was, she returned to her dorm room after her dinner. She had looked through her bag, trying to find her notebook, but soon realized it wasn't there. Her panic had grown as she searched her whole dorm and still hadn't been able to find it. She quickly ran to the common room, hoping she had left it there, and started looking through the huge space. It had taken her an hour to search the common room, only to realize the thing she searched for wasn't there. The curfew had made it impossible for her to leave the common room and searched the castle for her little notebook.

Defeated she had returned to her dorm. Maybe it was in her bag and she had just been too blind to see? She had searched the bag before and she knew it wasn't there, but she could still hope. She had emptied her whole bag on her bed, which had led to some strange looks from her dormmates. Tons of empty candy wrappers, crumpled pieces of paper, broken pencils, homework assignments, and a couple of quills among her other school necessities had been laying on Samantha's bed. Her search had originally been for her notebook, but when she spotted a wand she completely forgot about it.

This wasn't her wand! She carefully picked it up and investigated it. The wand had been longer than her own and less flexible than hers. She hadn't been sure if the wand came out of her bag or had already laid on her bed, so she asked her dormmates if the wand belonged to them. After all the girls answered it didn't Samantha had realized the only option was that it was the wand from spider boy, something she didn't want to believe earlier because that could mean he had her wand, again. Remembering what the boy had done the previous time he had laid his hand on her wand, she knew the boy couldn't be trusted with somebody else's wand. The second thing she had realized was that her notebook was probably in his possession too. She panicked, what if he would read it? He shouldn't read it! She had written her whole life in the notebook, she had even written about Elsian!

Trying to calm herself down she had looked through the other things laying on her bed when she noticed a homework assignment that didn't belong to her. This time it hadn't taken her long to realize it was from spider boy. Being curious as always, Samantha had read through all of the boy's notes. The notes, which were attached to the astronomy homework, seemed to be some kind of study guide and were extremely interesting. They hadn't discussed any of this in her classes yet, so she assumed the boy was in a higher year than her, which had made the notes even more interesting. To her annoyance, Samantha noticed random doodles on the notes and even multiple handwritings. She would never draw on her notes or let anybody else touch her assignments, let alone write something on them.

After she had read through the notes she took a look at the homework assignment and couldn't resist correcting a little mistake she saw. Wand thief should be happy with her help! He desperately needed it, because his homework wasn't even worth an E, according to Samantha. She always tried to get an O and if she got an E she was extremely disappointed, so she couldn't even imagine giving this to a teacher. The one correction had been quickly followed by another correction and after a few minutes, Samantha had even added information to the boy's answer. When she came across a part of the assignment she didn't know anything about, she had decided that she would visit the library. Maybe there she would find the information she was looking for and she could finish the homework of the boy.

So that was why she could be found in the library that morning. She wanted to finish the boy's homework before she would give it back to him. That way she could rub in his face that she was smarter than him. She as a second-year student did the homework from a third-year student better than the third year himself. Her eyes stopped as she found the book she was looking for and she quickly removed it from the bookshelves. The young girl started skimming every page, trying to find the right information. After she scribbled some extra information on the boy's assignment, she placed the book back between the other books and left the library.

Samantha wasn't sure what she would do yet with the boy's wand and homework. She didn't want to be the one to beg the other to give her her wand back, she had already done that and hadn't exactly enjoyed that. Now she had something of the boy too, two things actually, but the boy also had her wand and her notebook. Maybe she should go to him because she didn't want him to read the notebook. No, he would need to approach her, begging for his wand and homework back. Maybe she would even throw his homework in the fountain in the owlery! Yes, he deserved that for his stupidity! The whole day, she made plans how she could annoy the boy when he would ask his wand and homework back. At the end of the day, she was even looking forward to seeing him again.
