The only reason Vivienne was here at Hogwarts (which she thought was a hilarious name) was because of an event called the Hexwizard Tournament, so other wizarding schools were at Hogwarts for it and the Blossom Ball. Vivienne wasn't much interested in the ball, though, and was definitely more interested in the Tournament. She was still contemplating whether she should put her name in the Goblet or not, but she figured Louis and her parents would want to know about it first. The Ball was definitely a good chance to meet new people from other schools and make friends, and she was definitely excited to be at Hogwarts for that very reason.
The brunette made her way over to a random owl, "Hello, owl," she smiled at it as she pet it's head gently, "Is it alright if you send this letter to my parents and little brother? You can do that right?" She asked the owl. She read the letter over one last time, making sure she had every detail she wanted to say:Once she read over the letter, she tied it to the owl's leg, "I think you know where this is meant to go, since you're magical and all, so have a safe journey!" She smiled one last time at the owl and waved as it flew out of one of the windows.Dear mum, dad and Louis,
We just arrived at Hogwarts yesterday! The name is hilarious, I mean, Hog and Warts? Who came up with it? The castle is really cool though! It's very big, but it's made me wonder, is every wizarding school a castle? Why aren't muggle schools castles? That'd be really, really cool. The entire reason we're at Hogwarts is because of this cool tournament called the Hexwizard Tournament! It's meant to be super dangerous and super awesome, and if you want to be one of the 'champions' you need to put your name into a Goblet. I'm thinking of putting my name in, what do you guys think?
I really miss you!!! I hope you guys are having fun without me though and I can't wait to see you again to tell you all about my cool magical stories! I still can't believe I'm a witch, I mean a real life witch! Super, super awesome. Don't be jealous, Louis, you're still super awesome too. Ummmmmm I think that's all I need to say??? If I've forgotten something though I'll just sent a separate letter but yeah! That's it!

───────────────────────────────────── With a steady eagerness like she'd just drowned in sugar, Faye hopped up each step to get to the Owlery. Sure, the steps tired her out, but it was the most steps she'd ever done in her life, way more. The walk to the chippy seemed like a walk around her garden compared to the absolute monstrosity of a staircase, on which she was walking up.
About half way up she'd stopped hopping, as there had been a wet patch due to recent rain and, not wanting to slip and fall and have to report her demise as 'fell down steps at a magical school in scotland, the Ravenclaw decided to just cling on to the stone banisters as she made her way up.
When she reached the top, though, her neglected energy swiftly dove back into motion, making her hop and skip her way into the Owlery, not stopping to notice a girl she didn't recognise, and stare up at all the available owls, mouth agape.
It was not for a while after she'd decided which owl she wanted (chosen literally just because she thought it was cute) that she finally noticed that the room wasn't exactly empty. When she hopped around to go send the owl with a letter for back home, the sight of a figure talking to an owl scared the life out of her, making her do a double jump back in the air, noises of distress coming from both Faye and the owl.
"You know how to scare people, aye..?" She heaved breathlessly, trying to be calm and energetic but ending up looking like she'd seen a ghost.

"I was just trying to send a letter to my mama and papa," she explained, gesturing towards the open window which her owl had flew out of moments before, "I'm going to guess you're trying to do the same? I really like your outfit, though! It's very nice and colorful! Are you a Hogwarts student?" When the girl had spoken, she had a rich accent, but Vivienne couldn't remember which accent it was. An Irish accent, perhaps? Or Scottish? She really couldn't remember. "I'm clearly not, I'm from Beauxbatons if it wasn't already obvious. Hogwarts is really cool though! I'm excited to be here."
Then, Vivienne remembered the question that she had wrote in her letter, and decided that she'd have to ask this girl who would hopefully have the answer. "Oh, also, do you know if every wizarding school is a castle? Because Beauxbatons is, and Hogwarts is too, is it just a running theme for wizarding schools?" This was a mystery that Vivienne was determined to solve, she'd definitely have to ask students from other schools when she saw them. Though, maybe this girl would have the answer. "I wonder why muggle schools aren't castles." She murmured, mostly to herself though the other girl could still hear.
