On the Hogwarts Express  Closed
Penelope headed down the length of the train, lugging her trunk behind her. Her long dark hair was braided down her back, her electric blue eyes lined with mascara. She wore a black T-shirt and a leather jacket the same color, along with jeans and sneakers. A silver bracelet circled her wrist.
It was her first day of school, and her parents had seen her off. She had always known she was going to Hogwarts, and had been looking forward to this day for a long time. So, she hadn’t really felt sad about leaving her family and all that stuff. Honestly, se did know why everyone else just seemed determined to have a teary goodbye.
As Penelope walked, she checked in compartments, looking for one with spare space, but all of them were full. Of course, this would not have happened if she had not forgotten her trunk, and they had had to double back to retrieve it. Her trunk! How can you even forge something like that?
Finally, toward the back of the train, Penelope finally found a compartment, which was completely empty. She stepped inside, stuffed her luggage into the overhead compartment, and sat down in a seat by the window. A few minutes later, she was already bored. She looked toward the doorway, hoping someone would show up.
