Roleplaying as Lee Ye-jun from Beauxbatons – Encyclopedia
Violet in English, Red in Korean and Blue in FrenchYe-jun was struggling today. He was a good student but unlike his cousin, who was naturally intelligent, he had to work hard to achieve his good grades. Not that she didn’t work hard but her level of understanding was definitely different. He was smart and versatile but he didn't excel in everything like Eun-ji did. Sometimes, the boy wished she was here to tutor him…like today for example. He was nearly done with his homework but something felt off. The paper was due tomorrow so he didn’t have much time to figure it out. He thought all information was correct at first yet now as the deadline approached, Ye-jun wasn’t as confident as he was before. Perhaps it’s just my mind playing tricks on me. “Aish…” Something along the lines of “damn it” He huffed, s bit frustrated with himself. He was incredibly confident individual but that didn’t mean he never struggled.
It was times like these when the wizard felt like he was seriously lacking in the friend department. He was good looking and charming so he was relatively popular among his peers but that was all superficial. The boy knew he wasn’t easily approachable and for the most part, he liked it that way. He didn’t trust people. They could be vile for the stupidest reasons possible. He had his fair share of hard times when it came to other kids in the past and he had enough. It felt safer to keep his distance especially since once he did trust someone, he would go all in. So no, he could not even go and ask somebody for help. It was okay though. Ye-jun was used to figuring everything out on his own…he just had to try harder.

role-playing as Sébastien BatteuxIf you didn’t count Cassie, Sébastien Batteux had no friends. He had a knack of annoying people to the point they either blatantly ignore him or go out of their way to annoy him back. His only one and true friend happened to be a very over the top excited girl who had never shut up a day in her life. Berry knew he needed to get more friends. Probably ones on the same energy levels as him. As much as he loved Cassie, she was sometimes a bit too much to handle and it would eventually drive the French boy to insanity.
Although he didn't do well in the relationships aspect of life, Sébastien knew he was very gifted in the academic parts. Many people would disagree on that from a first glance at the boy considering he had been held back a year. But that wasn't due to his smarts. It happened because of some unexpected circumstances no one could have foreseen.
Berry knew he needed to step up his game and decided to walk up to the first person he saw and talk to them. This person so happened to be another boy who looked quite distressed over a piece of parchment. So like his plan in his head, Sébastien strode over with as much confidence as he could muster and bent over the boys back to get a better look.
"Do you need any help?" He asked quite loudly trying to attract the boys attention. Maybe this was on opportunity to gain an acquaintance which could turn into some more. A friendship? "I'm sure you do because you look annoyed and anyone annoyed would happily take help to lessen their anxiety about whatever they are doing"
He took a step back and then waited to gain a reaction. Hopefully they wouldn't cast him aside because he was the 'one who get held back'. Berry held a deep breath not sure if he had phrased exactly what he wanted to say correctly. He probably should have thought it out more before he spoke.

Roleplaying as Lee Ye-jun from Beauxbatons – Encyclopedia
Violet in English, Red in Korean and Blue in FrenchYe-jun was about to scrap the whole paper when an unfamiliar voice interrupted his thoughts. Turning around, the boy immediately re-evaluated his previous statement. It has been some time but he definitely saw this one before. They attended same classes during his first year at Beauxbatons. What was his name again? Sébastien? He was almost certain that was right. If he was being honest, the rumours going around school helped with that recollection, although Ye-jun never personally joined in. He hated gossipy people. Why did they have to be so nosy? He didn’t care if one of his classmates got held up a year or for what reason. It was none of his business really. Still, if he remembered correctly Sébastien was a pretty good student.
Raising his eyebrows, Ye-jun took a moment to think about it. He liked overcoming obstacles and he usually preferred to so on his own but he wasn’t quite sure whether he had time to do the same with this particular assignment. Looking back at the table, he noticed a small piece of paper spelling 도와 줘요/dowa jwoyo. Means "help me" in Korean. When did I write that one? It appeared even his subconsciousness knew he was doing an incredibly poor job today. Well, I was just thinking how I need some friends. Might as well give it a try for once.
“Well, maybe. I mean…you are pretty smart, right?” He pointed at the cursed paper lying in front of him. “You wanna help me with this one? I hate this subject. Most of the time I can make things work alas today is simply not my day,” he shrugged, sounding pretty confident even as he admitted his own weakness. Sometimes he himself wondered how he did that. Then again, Ye-jun worked really hard to build himself up so why the hell not? He liked to believe he earned the right to be secure in his own skin by now. “Name’s Ye-jun by the way. Lee Ye-jun.” He offered his hand to the boy. While he got pretty popular by the end of his first year, he never assumed everybody knew him. After all, he was mostly popular due to his good looks and poise so it wouldn't be surprising if people didn't remember his name. They mostly admired him from afar and hardly anyone really knew him for who he was. Not that he ever tried to change that. Dealing with people could be tiresome but figuring out whether he could trust somebody was thoroughly exhausting. Still, it was about time he at least attempted to do so. This was his third year for God's sake. Yeah, alright...let's see how we do with this one.

role-playing as Sébastien Batteux"Yes I am smart" Sébastien smirked looking down to the paper lying in from of Ye-jun. "Oh, Divination. That's just all rubbish. Make it up and you'll be fine." The boy nodded to himself. Berry wouldn't count it as one of his favourite subjects but still studied it nonetheless. He always wanted to be on top of everyone else and tried to be the top of the class. Key word tried. As much as he loved power and knowledge, he usually found himself distracted and pondering on other subjects.
"Is that name Asian? Korean?" The boy wondered out loud. He immediately remembered he was trying to make friends not trying to sound rude! "Oh, I'm sorry if that…" He took a gulp, "offended you in any way. I tend to speak my thoughts at the worst moments." Sébastien Batteux took the boys hand and continued, "Nice to meet you Lee. Or is it Ye-jun? I'm Sebastien but you can call me Berry." He smiled softly hopping the person across from him wouldn't walk away after his slightly outburst.
Berry took a seat next to him and moved his eyes to the paper once again pointing with his finger. "Here you can just say whatever constellation you want. Do something like Aries or Cancer. As long as you have a few facts it won't really matter and you can make up how it makes you feel. Any part you need particular help on?"

Violet in English, Red in Korean and Blue in French“Ah...that makes sense. No wonder I'm not a fan then.” Ye-jun nodded to himself. He was always leaning more towards the reasonable side of things and favoured logic over daydreaming. He enjoyed fantasy or sci-fi stories in any form but he always separated them from his everyday life. Although one might argue that his life was somewhat of a fantasy story, he was a part of it now and therefore didn't see it as such. Ye-jun was also not a natural learner. Well academically speaking at least. His good grades were a result of earnest hardwork except perhaps broom riding and The Care of magical creatures. Those came relatively easy to him. Nonetheless he loved to study and it was always frustrating when he wasn't doing a good job.
“Well, nice to meet you Berry...and yes it's Korean.” He smiled then, a rather unusual reaction for a first meeting but he liked this guy. Said exactly what he was thinking, no pretense or anything. “No need to apologise. I'm quite proud of my heritage so I don't mind people asking questions. Also, first name's Ye-jun. I'm sorry for the confusion but I grew up surrounded by Korean family and we always put our last name first so it's a habit that's pretty hard to shake I'm afraid. Other Asian countries do it too actually.” He knew his cousin struggled with this as well but honestly, it was probably not a big deal.
The boy then looked back at his paper and slowly stared writing. Making up nonsense shouldn't be too hard, right? “Constellation you say...I guess I could do Aries.” He did have some knowledge on that one so he was fairly confident he would finish the assignment on time. “Thanks for the help by the way.” He paused then. “I’m not interrupting your studies I hope?” For once, Ye-jun didn't mind the company but he also didn’t want to be a reason for the other boy to lag behind. He seemed smart enough not to but Ye-jun still wanted to check. Surely his purpose for coming here must have been different originally.
