Sat in a comfy chair, Extressia was reading a book about magical creatures more specifically the famous guide by Newt Scamander. Her eyes were on full attention mode on the book, when someone accidentally knock over a big heavy book, making an extremely loud sound, being close to the book, she quickly divert her attention to see who knock over the book, to see a familiar groomed jet black hair and ash black eyes boy, picking up the book.

Taking a decent look at him, she was satisfied with her curiosity so turned back to her book. But something about the boy was familiar like she met him before, it snapped to her attention, so she look back and took a second glance. It was quickly apparent to who this was since it was Kai! Her friend from the Hogwart Express, since then they had a couple of meetings, even though it was brief and some classes together, and just someone she wanted to see. Moving her chair with unexpected strength, she hopped over to Kai.
"Hey Kai, Extressia here. I didn't know you to be here. I was just reading a book on animals, you see, I know this is straightforward, but we know each other a bit by now, so I wanted to ask you to the Blossom ball coming up, as friends of course."

I just wanted to take a book to help me with a paper I had to hand in soon, but with my legendary clumsiness I had bumped into a girl... I quickly picked up the book, already preparing a thousand and one excuses in my head. And when I raised my head, surprise, it was Extressia whom I had met at the beginning of the year! She also seemed to have recognized me, because she came to meet me, and then asked me if she could invite me to the Blossom ball. I smiled flattered:

- Of course, with pleasure, so we can get to know each other better

I didn't know there was a Blossom Ball, I hadn't been told about it obviously, but it was a good idea, I didn't know Extressia more than that, and then as she said we were going as friends, it could be really fun.

Yet we had seen each other again, but I hadn't dared to go and see her, because I thought it was just a simple friendship, we had met on the train that took us to magic school, nothing more. I was really happy, to hell with homework, I wanted to enjoy a feeling I had never experienced before, friendship.

"Great, to be honest, the only reason I heard about it was because of some people in the Gryffindor common room talking about it, anyways want to read this book with me, it all about the magical creatures. If you are not too busy that is, then I won't disturb you anymore."

With a wide smile, Extressia holds up the "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" book in all its natural and animalistic glory. Inside her mind, she was secretly more excited to have a friend coming to the ball with her than she should probably have, since first of all, she was pretty confident about Kai accepting it, since he was nice to her on the train, despite some unexpected tensions, regarding their views on muggles.

But when she first move to England, she thought she wouldn't make any friends, since it was already difficult making friends somewhere she knew well, so in a new country with differing cultures, she plan on being stuck in her house all her life, but now she had more
acquaintances here than before, even when they are not the friendliest, but still she never felt more social in well forever.

She offered me a book, but I said:

- I'm sorry, I'm not a great reader, I prefer to concentrate on my violin.

We have a library at the manor, but it's mainly used for Edwart, who is a good reader. My mother always told me that it's what other people see that they'll remember about us, I didn't have anything to show them with books, but with music, I had to impress people, I was like a marketing product, a way to make people want to like the Lee family: "Even their son is a prodigy", I've heard that phrase, yes. I looked at my friend, she seemed to love books, I smiled, because it always feels good to smile, this ball would change my mind

- - If you want one day I could teach you the violin, it's a really nice instrument! I really like it.

I only knew the violin, I wanted to try the piano but my mother told me that there were too many people who could play the piano, I had to do something else, something that people expected less, but not a violent instrument like the drums, no, something soft, like the flute. In the end, she told me that the best of all was still the violin.

Oh I love to learn but what I meant do you want to read this book with me?
Extressia asked with slight confusion but overall was now interested in the prospect of learning violin. She liked learning new stuff, especially music. The room felt quiet, the library wasn't the most popular place to hang out, at least for today. The rustling of the wind and the footstep echoes seem so loud as she thought about learning how to play the violin.
She looks at her book with a slightly saddening expression. But she decided to put it away, she was almost down with it after all, then her mind remember that there was some stuff she needed to take care of, with a nervous look. She smiles gently and begins to rush out of the library. But before she does that she give Kai some parting words
"Sorry I just remember I got something to do, see you later or at the Blossom ball. Look your best alright? Thank for the lesson, I come back to you on those."
With excitement about going to the ball with a partner and going to a social event in her mind, Extressia grinned in shining joy.
