Tiffany Lisa Golighty  Beauxbatons
Name: Tiffany Lisa Golighty (pronounced like ‘goliddy’)
School: Beauxbatons
Year: First Year
Status: Pureblood
Appearance: Her light brown eyes are very large compared to the normal person, and added with her rosy cheeks and 4’2 frame, she is often mistaken for a young child. Her hair is a dark-reddish chestnut colour and changes from brown to red depending on the lighting. Her hair is almost always in pigtails tied with a pink bow. She sits and stands up extremely straight and like she may bolt at any moment. Her facial expression is usually kind but unreadable and does not change that often except when experiencing strong emotions.
When she is not in a school uniform, she often wears pastel colours and fluffy dresses. She is always seen with a pink bookbag that contains her People Journal where she records people’s personalities, looks, and mannerisms, Francis Rosegates’ poetry journal and her own poetry journal. And of course, it has her essential schoolbooks and items.
Personality:
Reducio
Tiffany Golighty is what others would call “sadistic”, though in Tiffany’s opinion and by technical definition, this did not fit her.
Despite her soft and kindly look that made others feel at ease and her first impression of being a soft-spoken young girl with a soft voice, people quickly would notice she was strange, and usually has a lot of say about fate, astrology, and philosophy in general. She does not seem to care about what others think and will say anything on her mind and is usually confused when people are cross about what she has to say. She also talks openly about topics that people would consider taboo such as death and what happens afterward, religion and human emotion, though she is very disinterested in politics. She is, in short, prone to making people feel uncomfortable.
She enjoys playing with small animals and acting like they could hear and understand her, and when people would question that, she would be confused. No amount of talking would convince her otherwise. When she was little she used to hurt them, though now if someone suggested it to her she would be quite horrified and probably avoid that person.
When she is older, she would like to become an Auror and face bigger threats. She loves the thrill of fighting and winning and especially loves losing. Humans are capable of many things and it is amazing to Tiffany when they show it.
Tiffany is not interested in anything concerning relationships and is fine with friendships. She admires her enemies and would be thrilled to fight with them, especially if they are fighting on pure anger.

Tiffany grew up in St. Malo, raised by her aunt on her mother’s side who was born in a wizard family. She wasn't sure what happened to her parents, but as she was quite accustomed to her life with her aunt, she barely asked.
Unfortunately, her aunt was a Squib, which made her unable to perform proper magic. Because of that, she always resented Sandy for her magical abilities and managed to convince Tiffany that she was also not a magic user, which worked for a while.
Tiffany later figured out during her younger years that her aunt lived up to her name. She had a seriousness that young Tiffany admired, and as a result Tiffany strived to be like her. She sat when her aunt told her to, she talked the way she did, she always listened to her. Aunt Trang was absolutely in love with poetry and plays and especially Shakespeare, and Tiffany later adopted that too- in fact, her aunt had a great impact on Tiffany and the way she presented herself, which Tiffany was grateful for.
Her aunt lived in an old multiple story house which contained many old letters written by a man named Francis Rosegates that Tiffany read everyday. It was like a museum! Everyday she would go into the attic and read them, and just in case they were destroyed or otherwise lost, she would write them down in a diary, keeping track of the letters and what they contained. There were lots of them too, due to the house being way over 200 years old and expensive and large.
Tiffany’s aunt brought her to a Muggle school when she was 7, though Tiffany quickly grew to dislike the school due to their constant need to make everyone in line and ‘normal’. But when Tiffany tried to explain the fact to her peers and teachers, she was always sent home due to ‘disrupting the class’. As a result, the young Golighty was picked on by the other children there.
Tiffany did not mind at first-they were simply children and she knew that they would not have an impact on her life- but finally snapped when a girl by the name of Ashley Jane Strongheider got her hands on Tiffany’s diary, and that was when her life turned upside down- in a good way.
Miss Strongheider managed to get the diary open and read it out loud in front of the children who had gathered in the bathroom before getting bored, deciding to waste perfectly fine parchment by flushing the pages down the toilet. Tiffany was upset and felt sad for Francis- his letters were beautiful and the opposite of boring and Strongheider had terrible taste in writing. As revenge, the Golighty girl threw a rock at her gorgeous bird after attending church and killed it, an atrocious act that Tiffany regretted every day of her life.
When Strongheider found out about her dead bird later on Monday and who did it, she screamed at Tiffany, “You stupid, useless freak! That’s IT!” and ran at Tiffany at top speed, understandably. Once the young girl hit the ground, all of the glass windows in the entire school exploded, causing the elementary schoolers to have to get stitches- all except Tiffany.
After that her aunt whisked her out of the school and angrily grumbled about “magic rubbing off on her’ which excited Tiffany. Tiffany and magic sounded like a world of possibilities to her, but her aunt thought otherwise. Until she turned 9, Aunt Trang was on a roll, sending Tiffany to a total of 4 Muggle schools before deciding that she was not a fit for any of them. She tried to resort to homeschooling, but Tiffany found multiple letters from a school offering to take Tiffany and saying that she’d go there in the fall.
This was just what she wanted! A chance to interact with people of her own kind. However, she knew that her auntie would be less than willing to bring her to the school, so she did something that her aunt vowed her not to do.
She acted like a child.
"Mother, can I accustomed ride the fun, cool brooms? Go to school? That's all i ask!" is all that Aunt Trang heard for a week straight. Literally 24/7. Tiffany would wake up and hit her aunt with pillows until she sent her back to bed. Two days before the other students departed to Beauxbatons, her aunt get mad and sent her there just to get her off her back.

ABILITIES-

Abilities:
Terrible Presence

Reducio
Throughout generations and generations of Golighty's, they all had one thing in common- exceptional beauty and grace. It started with MaryLisa Golighty on her father’s side all the way back in the 1500s- she was described as having perfect, shiny black hair, perfectly pink cheeks, beautiful brown eyes that put people in trances- both male and female. The princes wanted to marry her. The princesses wanted to be her.
But Marylisa was not interested in desperate princes and longing princesses. She just wanted to live peacefully in her cottage with her domesticated cat Olive. But the king was insistent on making sure that she got married with his son. So to avoid public shaming, she did.
Soon enough, Marylisa had 3 children- two daughters and one son who were just as beautiful as their mother. But now she was miserable. The selfish prince expected her to follow every single one of his commands, including throwing out her poor, poor cat. But he was royalty, so she couldn't leave. She was known to the public as ‘the prince’s wife’ and she had to stay that way to protect herself.
It finally got to the point where he wanted to have even more children, which MaryLisa refused. Angry, he locked her up in the dungeons and declared her dead to the public.
Almost a week later, Marylisa, sick and starving, was released by a maid and was given food and water, and miraculously survived. She then made a plan with said maid to kill the prince. They served him some food with an overwhelming amount of foxglove used in it, and within days he was gone.
The king was devastated and demanded to know who had caused the king’s death, and the maid tried to rat Marylisa out. Luckily for Marylisa, she had already left the country and there was little to no proof that she did it, so he pinned it on the maid instead. By the time the real culprit was found, Mary and the maid were already long dead.
Unfortunately, this was a common theme among the Golighty women- murder/mutilation. Some were doing it for an actual reason, and some did it just for the thrill. Tiffany’s vow was to never become like them. Although she may be strange, she would never hurt a person, even if others acted like she would. They feared her, she could tell. Every time she entered a room, the conversation would quiet down and eyes would follow her, waiting for her to make her move. People stayed out of her way, whether she wanted them to or not.
Little did Tiffany know that she emitted what the others called “bad vibes”. Shadows seemed to follow her wherever she went, and people just knew that someone was wrong with her. And the most baffling part (at least to the others)? Tiffany never seemed to get why. She never walked around with weapons. And yet, her mere presence made people afraid.
