ARCHER ARTEMIS LADRIAN | SECOND YEAR | DURMSTRANG
APPEARANCE
Archer is genderfluid which is why his appearance changes a lot depending on what gender he's feeling. He has split dyed hair (half white and half black), and dark blue eyes with flakes of gray. He has fairly long hair which he usually pushes up under a hat, ties back in a manbun if he's feeling masculine, or lets drape straight down his shoulders when he's feeling feminine. Archer's aesthetic tends to hover in the grunge / alt area - his clothing is always clean and smells nice, and he loves jewelry and accessories which is why regardless of what gender he's feeling, he's always going to have perfectly manicured nails.
PERSONALITY
When he is feeling masculine he goes by Archer and when she's feeling feminine she goes by Artemis or Bow. Artemis is an extrovert and is unafraid to speak her mind. She's a very judgmental person and talks a lot of smack behind other people's backs as a way to cover up her own insecurity. She is the kind of person who is effortlessly good at things, not having to spend hours practicing in order to perfect a skill.
HISTORY
Archer was raised by a single father who put the highlight on self expression and freedom of speech, rather than worrying about grades or career options for his son. He was discovered to be exceptionally smart for his age, and didn't need a lot of help with academics or integrating within the wizarding society. Rather than being thrust into tutoring and being made to learn as much as possible, the boy was left alone to live his life. He got in a reasonable amount of trouble as a kid, first for never doing any homework and second for talking back to teachers and seemingly never paying attention in class.
His father worked for the ministry but despite the labor intensive job that demanded long hours and travel, Archer's dad tried to be at home as much as possible, or to take Archer with him as often as he could. As a result, the boy missed a lot of school but traveled the world, following his dad's assignments and gaining experience. He gained a love for flight after the many trips he was dragged along on. Despite being relatively poor and living day to day, his father began to give him an allowance so that he may begin saving up for a broom.
