Natasha always loved nature and hated hospitals. But this place was the way to both of it. She was very pleased to the birds fly above the great lake and didn't bother about the hospital wing. She felt bad for the suffering people who were sleeping there and not with their friends, but still never wanted to visit them. She fresh air filled her lungs, the morning air gave chills to her whole body.
She knew her friend would be searching for her, but still she needed her alone time always. She met Cloudy Bigwolf in the Hogwarts Express, and they became friends. Now they trying to become closer, which was good for both.
It was as if her friend had heard about what she was thinking, the only person to search for her in this castle stood in front of her as if she had told her where would be.
"How did you find me?" but still she knew the answer, the Courtyard and the Library are the places to find Nat if she was not in the class or in her dorm. She smiled at Cloudy.
"So when are we going to cut your hair and dye them? I'll be the one to do it for you. And if someone else touches your hair, I'll use the trimmer and take your entire hair off." She taught for a moment, Cloudy Bigwolf with no hair. Then she was on the floor laughing. She was not able to control it. After getting her time from Cloudy, she asked "Why did you get this idea? Your hair better than my distrubing one. Are you sure about it?"

Cloudy shrugged, then looked in the mirror curiously.
"I've always liked the idea of dark hair." She said, looking over at Natasha for a while before looking back into the mirror. "My parents are kind of conservative. You should know their type. No tattoos, no feminist or LGBT stuff, and no dying my hair." Cloudy sighed.
"Mother is relatively more relaxed about it than Father, but even she's not comfortable with me changing my look. She wants me to wait until I'm older. But Natasha."
Cloudy looked over at her dark chocolate haired friend whose hair stuck out messily from her head. It suited her. Cloudy looked over at her own long peach brown hair. Her mother called it 'strawberry blonde' with a hint of red, but Cloudy regarded it as peach. That was just what it was.
"I got to do what I want to do."
Cloudy gulped a little at the thought of her friend with a pair of scissors, trimming off her entire head- maybe she would look like a freak, she thought to herself. But it was either that, or she had to do it herself. And Cloudy was not trimming her hair on her own. Nah, nah. Too difficult. She had looked up several books in the hair department section to search for suitable dyes, and she found several nice types that fit her budget. If she didn't like her hair, she could always use a Mandrego potion that would regrow her hair back. Just one quick buy at Diagon Alley and problem solved! It wasn't that expensive, either.
"Do you want to do something with your hair too?" Cloudy asked Natasha, eyes sparkling. "There's extra dye, so I think I can manage."
Cloudy pointed to the pouch filled with dyes inside her bag. She wasn't sure if they were allowed in Hogwarts, so she had to bring over a lot of them in secret. It was a shame they weren't the magical types. Magical potions for hair dye sounded awesome. Cloudy was sure they would have magnificent colors. Waiting for a reply, Cloudy smiled innocently.

Cloudy was talking as the pleasant breeze hit us, making our hair fly. That was good to her hair but not for Nat. She will have to spend extra time on combing it properly.
"So you can just make your hair as you wish once you become an adult. Maybe according to the wizard or the muggle, which ever is earlier. I'm only telling this because if your parents scold you after making your hair..."Natasha pointed. "But whenever it is I will be the one doing it for sure." Nat was firm with that, because she had never done it before, her first try would be her friend.
"And don't compare yourself with anyone. No use in that." She said that because she knew the way Cloudy looked at her hair.
Nat laughed,"You wanted me to dye my hair!! Are you crazy? Thanks for the offer. Yep, I'm irritated with my hair, but still can't live without that irritation anymore. It's a part of me now. And there is no use in dyeing it, once my emotions trigger, it is automatically gets it's colors. You know it tho." Saying that she pulled the pouch from Cloudy. As it slipped from her hand, all the stuffs landed on the floor of the Courtyard making the floor colorful. Nat stood in shock, with her hair red. That was not dye, it was her ability.
She looked at Cloudy, who gave a nonjudgmental expression...

To compare. Cloudy immediately knew that Natasha had misunderstood her hearing that sentence. She wasn't comparing herself. It was simply a preference. Though Cloudy didn't hate her soft pink hair, she preferred dark hair more- it would make her look mature and distinguished, Cloudy imagined. Different. Individualistic.
And then before Cloudy knew it, a bunch of colored dye was on the floor.
It often happened. Lost in thought, she would forget to pay attention to the things around her, and then the world would move without her noticing. The pouch in her hands was gone. Cloudy looked up to see Natasha's hair, which had turned red. Red. Cloudy raised an eyebrow. She was pretty sure it wasn't that color when she looked up. So that was what Natasha had meant by 'her emotions triggering' and her hair 'getting its colors'. Her emotions affected her hair color, like a chameleon. It was unexpected, and also curious.
Cloudy didn't envy her friend- to have your emotions light up like a poster all over your face must be embarrassing at times. Though the effect was beautiful. Dark red. Cloudy sighed. That probably didn't mean anything good.
However, there were more pressing matters to be met- the floor was still dyed with various colors, dark green and blue colored the cobblestones along with streaks and clouds of neon. Cloudy wondered why she had bought so many different colors of dye. She didn't need that much. Right now she could see two options flashing in front of her eyes- first was to clean up the mess and hope it wouldn't rain for goodness sake. The sky was dark and filled with clouds. If it rained, the dye would melt into the ground and the dye would actually become permanent. Which wasn't a good idea.
The second idea, which seemed much more attractive, was to run away from the commotion and hope nobody would notice, since the courtyard was empty, maybe everything would be resolved as 'a mysterious prank' or something similar. No minus points on her grade, no negative evaluation, no problems.
Cloudy sighed. Whatever the result was, she hoped the teachers wouldn't pass by.
"Natasha." She said, her face blank from how tired she was from all the thinking. She gestured towards the dirty ground. "So should we clean up, or?"

The air around her became cold, she started thinking about the detentions and her points. She never wanted to loose her house points but detention was okay for her. But she should ask to Cloudy too, because even if this is her mistake both are going to be punished.
She saw the floor with colors, they were so beautiful!!!(she also knew that this is the last thing to think now) The spilled dye gave a natural design and added to her favorite art work!!
Nat knew that Cloudy was already occupied with the chances to escape from this situation, but still waited for her to come up with an idea. Because the ideas Nat give ends in more trouble, whatever she does on her own gives a scar, not only to her but also to others.
The taught of escaping from the place was the worst idea for her now, because of her hair. If someone noticed her hair color, they would surely know she had something stupid. So, she started thinking about how to clean the dye, what spell or potion would clean the place. Surely she will ruin with the potion, because she is weak in the subject.
When Cloudy signed, Nat came back to the reality where no moves were done. And she hoped her hair color goes back to normal.
"So should we clean up, or?" asked Cloudy. 'OR?', so she has other ideas too...that's great and crazy.
"Sorry Cloudy. I will get the same dye colors once we visit...."She realised that she never knew the shops that sold these kind to things, she was not ashamed of that."Whatever shop it is and how much ever it costs, I will get you them. Now what shall we do?"
"If you have the idea of escaping, I'm ready to do it. But first tell me, what is the color of my hair now?"

Her dyes weren't a problem. Cloudy looked down disdainfully at the powders coloring the ground. She had just picked any brand she found in the department store- most of the dyes were around thirty to fifty bucks? Or so she thought. She had brought five boxes, so that equated to roughly two hundred dollars. Not that much.
Cloudy appreciated the offer of repayment, but it couldn't be helped. She hadn't bothered to pick a specific brand, she only bought the ones with the highest reviews and the best recommendations, after all, the last thing her family was short of was money. Not that she was rich, but she was still very well-off. And Cloudy wasn't one to go around looking like a buffoon- the dyes would need to be of good quality.
Spells and potions. Cloudy sighed. As Cloudy talked about money, she remembered a very important point. She had forgotten that her school was a magic school. If she performed a botched cleaning spell, that could prevent the place from being cleaned entirely, however, if the proper spell was performed, all problems could be solved. A potion... Cloudy hesitated. Just forget it. There was not enough time. And with that, Cloudy looked to the side for a broom. There weren't any.
Escaping was a beautiful prospect. However, responsibility and honesty called. And more importantly, logic was telling Cloudy it would be a horrible idea to leave the dyes unattended. The teachers at Hogwarts must have a way to find troublemakers. It was a magic school, after all. Cloudy's pride protested against being marked as a troublemaker. Though perhaps Natasha wouldn't mind.
Natasha wasn't as strict and goody-goody as she thought. Perhaps she even had some ideas of her own. Cloudy pursed her lip, thinking, then a shallow smile appeared on her face before disappearing completely.
"I'll get some brooms." Cloudy told Natasha. "You don't have to compensate anything, so don't worry about it. And well,"
Cloudy gestured to the floor. "Forget running. Let's start cleaning up."
Natasha's hair wasn't red anymore, but was rather a much softer color, as if her emotions were settling down. Cloudy noticed it was turning orange, and she suspected it would change again soon. Maybe yellow? But a rather sickly yellow it was.
Cloudy reached out her hand to cover Natasha's head.
"Put on a hood." She whispered. "I think someone's coming by."

'She doesn't wanted to be re payed?? Is she crazy? The only girl who doesn't bother about the money (maybe at least for now)' Nat taught to herself after hearing her friend say something she didn't expect.
Nat got an idea of gifting all color dyes to Cloudy on her birthday!! That should be last thing she should be thinking while trying to escape from the mess.
So as per Cloudy's decision, they started to clean the mess.
First, wipe and take the liquid off,
Second, try to remove the color (somehow),
Third, dry clean the place.
The plan seemed easy to spell out, but it requires hours to get it done. Suddenly Cloudy came and covered her hair!! "What is wrong with my hair?", but it was answered by Cloudy.
'I think someone's coming by.' That sentence took the hell out of her. And now Nat was damn sure that her hair would be as colorful as a rainbow, but was not sure with which color. She also covered her hair with her hands possible, but both their hand were not enough to cover her curly hair. Nat was tensed than thinking about the dyes.
Hope it's not a teacher or a prefect. And luckily someone who could help us.
But as soon as they saw the person passing by, their heart stopped for a second. Even before they could execute their idea of cleaning, they are about to be caught.
"He should be the last person I hope coming here? What the hell is he doing here? What are we going to do Cloudy?", Nat whispered into Cloudy's ears so he doesn't hear it.
Nat remembered that it was her mistake, so she decided, if they are caught Nat will say it's her fault and take the entire detention and send Cloudy to the room.

Cloudy raised her eyebrows. He? Natasha knew that person? Or was it something about the person's figure that told Natasha about him? No, the robes made it near impossible to tell a person by their figure.
Cloudy pursed her lips. It's not like they were doing anything wrong, she told herself. They definitely weren't the ones to spill paint all over the courtyard. They definitely weren't the ones who made a mess out of the whole place. And they definitely weren't worthy of detention. They were simply two kids who had seen the courtyard in an absolute mess, and so decided to volunteer to clean it up- just two, innocent, perfectly normal children.
Cloudy blew the hair out of her face, sighing. She was lying to herself again. A bad habit, she knew. But it was best to say a lie that you believed in, a lie closest to the truth. No, Cloudy thought. It would be even better not to say anything at all. Saying nothing was the best lie.
Saying nothing was a lie that couldn't be refuted. A lie that couldn't be held against. Cloudy nudged Natasha.
"Your hair-" She hesitated. It was very messy, the curls just made it even messier. And if her hair was sickly yellow before, now it lit up like fireworks- maybe it was due to nerves, maybe worry, but it wasn't anything good. "Maybe you should tie it back." She tried. "Or cover it with a hood?"
Cloudy took in another breath as the sound of footsteps permenated the halls. Picking a mop off the floor, she stuffed it into Natasha's hands, then awkwardly picked up a bucket of her own.
"Act natural." She hissed.
She was going to have Natasha tell her all about this person later, she decided. But for now, there were more pressing matters to be met.
