Just on Time!
“It’s already 9:00!” Charlotte exclaimed, checking her watch.
The girls crawled back outside just in time, so that they weren’t caught by security. “Wait! We can’t walk, it would take more than an hour!” yelled Charlotte.
“Charlotte,” Jillian piped up, “I know you said not to waste our extra 25 galleons, but right now, I think we need a taxi.”
“Yeah. Jillian’s right on this one.” said Sophia, “But… I don’t think wizards have taxis.”
“But we do have brooms! Plus, if we fly, we wouldn’t have to waste any galleons!” Charlotte replied. The three girls hopped onto their broomsticks and immediately zipped up into the air.
Jillian had been raving and screaming about how she could run into the wall and not get hurt (she had run into walls before, but it had hurt a lot). The other two girls finally talked her out of it and calmed her down, and they rushed to the train station. When they arrived, they purchased their tickets labeled “Platform 9 ¾,” and they were off. Of course, Jillian got to run through the portal first, then Sophia, then Charlotte. Just like in the books and movies, they vanished into the portal.
As Jillian screamed, “Charlotte, don’t let this wall eat me!” Sophia chuckled and started laughing. And just like that, they were on the platform. Platform 9 ¾.
“Wow” said the three girls simultaneously, as they finally landed in front of the Hogwarts Express.
