Hayley was born on the 10th of march at 13:27:21 in London. Her family is pretty small: just her mum Astrid and her little sister. Her mum is a muggle, a teacher, and her dad.. no one knows. He is a wizard for sure, but one day, shortly after the birth of Pearl, Hayley's sister, he just.. vanished. The sisters do not remember him, but Astrid maintains high his memory and hopes that one day he will return home.
The Nightshade girls grew up in a tiny town near London, in a small cottage with a beautiful little garden. The girls liked gardening with their mother, crafting, and reading books, both muggle and magical. It wasn't a surprise to Astrid when she saw the letter inviting Hayley to Hogwarts, after all the miracles - as she called them - performed by her older daughter. At least now she was sure that the flowers in the garden DID change color with Hayley's mood.
Hayley and Pearl didn't go to school like most children their age. Their mother taught them everything, and while she was at work, the girls passed their time by reading hundreds of books. This is why the only other adult in their life apart from Astrid was the local librarian Edith, an old lady living nearby, who sometimes organized book parties for the Nightshade family.
