Happy Valentine's Day! Solo Finished

Aaron hadn't been expecting these letters, but he was quite happy to receive them. So he of course wrote back, thanking the senders. He wasn't a very eloquent writer, but he did his best. His snowy owl Chae-rin would deliver these the morning after Valentine's, during the breakfast post.

Annyeong oppa, Hello (Oppa means brother or older boy in general)

I never really cared about Valentine’s day but someone said it’s not just about romance and we should celebrate all kinds of love or just take the opportunity to say something important. And so I’m taking the opportunity to say thank you for being my friend. You bring a piece of home to me every time we talk in Korean. It makes me remember all the good things that used to be. You make me feel at ease and you always seem to know when something bothers me. I can tell you care for my well-being and I will always be grateful for that. Thank you for being my dance partner and sorry for not making that ball special like I promised. I hope we can make that meal together sometime. I will make sure to make it extra delicious. For now though, the cupcakes will have to do. Share them with your friends if you’d like. Take care of yourself and come talk to me from time to time, will you?

Eun-ji had a really nice way with words. Aaron felt the same way - that she was a friend he really loved to be around and talking Korean with her was always weirdly comforting. But he was not the most eloquent letter writer, so he didn't have the same level of sentiment in his (but he really did treasure her friendship):

Thank you so much for the cupcakes! They're really good! I didn't participate in the errand this year, but if I had, I would've made some for you too. Thank you for being my ball partner too, I think it was a great time! The end sucked, but all the time before that was great. I'm really looking forward to being able to cook together - we'll make some really awesome food I bet. You'll of course have to take the lead, but I'm a great sous chef.

Dealla was such a nice person, though she seemed to have been having an unhappy go of it a few months ago. Her letter made him grin at the memory of the letter-stealing incident and how they had briefly bonded over their family stuff.
